Two carbs on 377

Anybody know how large carbs I can put on a 377. The engine in question is set up with a single 32 Mikuni. The owner wants a little more snap to keep up since her boyfriend now bought himself a 670... I've seen setups with two 30mm, but I've got a couple of 34s sitting on the shelf, do you think I can jet these down to match a 377 or will they drown the little fellow?
I had a couple formula 380's that came with dual carbs. You could set them up like a 98 model and be fine. I bumped one sled up to 34's and it ran quite nice! Maybe go on line and look at 98 stock set-up!
Yea, well, I can't seem to find other twin-carb setups than for the 30mm...
I was told the 1982 citation SS had dual 34 mm carbs, the specs are not that easy to find. all the later formul S sleds have a 30 mm carb not 34 . I don't think you will have much problem with tuning it I switched from 40mm to 44 mm on my mod sled and when iwas done i went one size larger on mains and one size larger on needle jets .they won't be a lot of change from the 30mm to the 34mm.

yeah the 82 citation ss and above years (after 82...83) all had 34's
What sled will it be going in to. The reason the safari does not have dual carbs, is because of the offset steering shaft. I believe shaft will hit one of the carbs.
82 Citation SS carb specs 2 X VM34-277 carbs specs for them are 380 main jet 6 EJ1-3 needle 159 P-4 needle jet 3.0 cutaway and a 40 pilotjet
make sure that your sled will accept two carbs, i have a 90 and 91, one has two carbs the other has one. I looked at making the two carber a single and wouldnt work because of the steering shaft. think you might have the same trouble going the other way also.
