Pokemon Go Fest 2023: London offer players the opportunity to catch Mythical Pokemon Diancie

Pokemon Go Fest 2023: London offer players the opportunity to catch Mythical Pokemon Diancie

Following April's announcement that Pokemon Go Fest 2023 would come to London this summer for an in-person event, Niantic has unveiled more details about what we can expect. Chief among those reveals is the Mythical Pokemon Diancie will debut in London and Osaka. The Jewel Pokemon will be obtainable by completing the event-specific Special Research.

Anyone who purchases a ticket can expect to see special Pokemon roaming about in the wild. You can find different habitats across Brockwell Park and Greater London. Depending on the day of your ticket, that plays home to numerous Pokemon, including Sigilyph. Additionally, you might encounter a Shiny Dewpider or Petilil if Lady Luck is on your side.

There are also a few bonuses on offer for those who purchase a ticket. These will activate at 9:00 am and stick around until 7:00 pm. You will benefit from them wherever you might be in Greater London, so long as you have a ticket for that day. Of course.

pokemon go tour london

Anyway, I'm sure you want to know what those benefits are so you can check those out below:

  • If you pop an egg in an Incubator during the event, it will hatch in half the usual distance.
  • You can make up to six Special Trades regardless of where you are in Greater London.
  • The Stardust cost for Trades shall be reduced.
  • By spinning Photo Discs at Gyms, you can net yourself up to nine Raid Passes.
  • X2 Catch Candy

Pokemon Go Fest 2023: London is a three-day affair that will take place between August 4th and 6th. The event is split between two locations. One day will see players flock to Broadwell Park while the remainder of the time will be spent exploring Greater London.

Pokemon Go is available now on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can download it for your preferred platform using the links below.

Pokémon Go will host an exclusive event in central London on Saturday

And Los Angeles, before Ultra Beasts return worldwide.

An exclusive Pokémon Go gathering will take place in London next Saturday, 26th November, at Somerset House.

The historic building, located by the Thames near Covent Garden, will feature a "visual Ultra Beast experience" from 5pm onwards, with all seven Ultra Beasts released in Pokémon Go thus far set to put in an appearance. It'll be the first time all seven will be catchable all in the same place.

Attendees will also have access to mysterious "special Pokémon encounters" in the wild and earn a commemorative in-game badge, all before the Ultra Beasts themselves emerge between 6pm and 7.30pm.

Those attending will also be able to enjoy freebies and photo ops.

It sounds like a unique group experience, and reminds me of the that original trailer for Pokémon Go where a crowd of players gathered in Times Square to collectively battle Mewtwo on the landmark's big screens.

A similar event will take place in Los Angeles, at the Ovation Center on Hollywood Boulevard - but if you can't make it to either, never fear. (And fair warning, UK-based Pokémon Trainers, there is a train strike on that day.)

A global Ultra Beast event is set to take place the following day - Sunday 27th - from 11am to 5pm, with timed research and five free raid passes.

Cover image for YouTube video

Unlike in London, however, finding all seven Ultra Beasts globally will be a little more difficult. Europe will get Nihilego, Pheromosa, Kartana and Guzzlord raids, but you'll need invitations from America for Buzzwole, the Asia-Pacific region for Xurkitree, and the Southern hemisphere for Celesteela.

Completed raid battles will spawn uncommon species around the gym, including a Shiny-boosted Minccino.

Finally, this week sees a global push to get players inviting friends to sign up for Pokémon Go using its referral program. 50,000 new players signed up via this will unlock a free lure for all players. 100,000 new players will see developer Niantic switch on the game's Beast Balls next weekend, which make Ultra Beasts much easier to catch.

London Guided Walks

London Guided Walks » Pokémon Go London Adventures

Pokémon Go London Adventures

  • January 17, 2022

Pokémon Go is the latest phenomenon to hits the streets of London. It is looking to rapidly become the biggest cultural phenomenon for a generation. Pokémon Go is a game on a mobile app which uses augmented reality to place Pokémon in the real world, which you can then go out and catch, incubate and hatch from eggs, train and battle. You don’t need a to be a fan or even have knowledge of the original Pokémon trump card game to be successful or to even enjoy playing.

London is a fabulous place to explore at the best of times but what I have noticed is that Pokémon Go is bringing people together. I have spoken to more strangers in London in the past few weeks more than perhaps in my 13+ years of living in London. Parents have shared their stories of how for the first time in years their teenage children don’t mind being seen with them if they are able to catch Pokemon. One German chap was so happy to finally have something to be able to do with his 20 yr old son that he told me “I have been geocaching for years and when my son was young he would come with me but he grew up and lost interest. But now we are on our first visit to England together. I find geocaches and he catches Pokemon!”

No doubt wearing my Mystic team t-shirt has provided an ice-breaker for many who have seen me frantically tapping my screen at the sight of a gym. Hey, I even got a free coffee from Pret a Manager as the server was a fellow team Mystic member! London suddenly seems a much more friendly place.

For those more culturally inclined there are additional benefits too. Firstly, the game encourages you to get out and about, either walking or cycling. As part of Pokémon Go you are not only able to catch Pokémon but you can also breed them from 2km, 5km and 10km eggs. I have 278 eggs now and have found Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Sparrow, Oddish, Paras, Magikarp, Zubat and Rattata in 2km eggs, Squirrel, Charmander, Kakuna, Pidgeotto, Ekans, Sandshrew, Nidoran (male and female) Diglett, Meowth, MankeyMachop, Abra, Weepinbell, Geo Dude, Dodo and Cloyster in 5km eggs and Magmar, ScytherGrowlithe, Arbor, Bulbasaur and Pikachu from 10km eggs.

In addition to incubating eggs, as you walk in London you will go past Pokéstops, posts which when activated will release Pokéballs, much needed potion, raspberries and revives. This has been one of the most enjoyable elements of the game for me as some Pokéstops have highlighted real life features on the street that I have simply missed. Being a London Tour Guide, it really does remind you that there is so much to see and learn in London.

The best places in London where I have caught some of the more interesting Pokémon I have packaged together into Pokémon Go London adventures:

Southbank to the West End , London Bridge to Tower of London and a night time Light up London where we will be celebrating the opening of the NightTube lighting up London with neon sticks and portable fairy lights.

What people have said about our Pokemon London adventures:

“This was great fun. A well planned tour, in which Hazel, the Guide gave everyone individual attention to help them get to grips with Pokemon Go. Would definitely recommend Hazel as an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable London guide.”

“Okay, So being a VERY mature student and taking up Pokemon-Go … I know, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, however, I had a Blast! Hazel was very knowledgeable not only of her surroundings and the area and buildings of London around us, but she had some impressive facts and pointers to aide those beginning, and well immersed in the game. A very enjoyable 2 hours meeting and socialising with the tour crowd, they were a good bunch of people. The tour was suitable for everyone from 6/7 upwards, and I am sure the average age group was 42! I would definitely look out for any of Hazels tours and tag along.”

“Hazel is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. She kept everyone of all ages entertained in a lively walk around central London, giving everyone attention so all got the hang of capturing Pokemon along the way and improving their playing skills. Really good fun and recommended.”

“I went on this walk yesterday will a group of people. We met up in the Southbank armed with our fully charged mobiles. You have to have the Pokemon Go app installed on your mobile. Our leader Hazel then put us through our paces by explaining what we had to do. Being as Pokemon Go is extremely popular it might take sometime to download. We then set off on our walk stopping on the way to play our game. I managed to increase my Pokemon Go levels from level 2 to level 5. I so enjoyed this walk that I continued playing this game long after the walk had finished.”

You can now go on a 'Pokémon Go' guided tour of London

Wanna be the very best, like no one ever was? Soz, according to the rumour mill someone’s already caught them all, filled their Pokédex and taken the title of ultimate Pokémon Master. But that doesn’t mean you have to settle for any old Pidgey, Rattata or Drowzee that comes your way – there’s still a whole jungle of Pokémon out there, you just need to know where to find them.

Before the weekend saw its closure, you may have relied on sneaky web app Pokevision to find the exact location of those rarer virtual creatures but now that’s gone, you may need a helping hand. That’s where PlanetPass comes in. One of their Blue Badge guides, Hazel, is a Poké enthusiast and wants to help the public hone their skills and catch some critters all while taking in some London history.

The private tour is for up to six people, lasts 90 minutes and costs £66. We’re pretty sure you’ll hit a mass of Pokéstops and hatch some eggs along the way but as Pokémon are wily little things, we’re not sure how many rare or even good catches you’ll get on your travels. But, who are we to say? Seeing as Pokémon are generated by the highest ranking trainer in the area, Hazel’s mega skills might encourage that Cubone or Rapidash hit up the South Bank for a nice stroll. And if you need to entertain your aunt and uncle with some London sightseeing, you could kill two birds with one stone… or capture two Grimers with one Pokéball – something like that at least.

This is where to find 30 of the best and rarest Pokémon in London

And here's all the Pokémon we've spotted in London

Been there, done that? Think again, my friend.

How to get tickets to Linkin Park's first world tour in seven years

Linkin park presale tickets are going on sale ahead of general sale.

Linkin Park are back after seven years, announcing a new album and world tour alongside a brand new singer.

The legendary band last night unveiled Dead Sara lead singer Emily Armstrong as their new co-vocalist. Armstrong replaces Chester Bennington following his tragic death in 2017, aged just 41.

Colin Brittain has also joined the band as its new drummer.

It's a huge turn of events for the band and its fans, with co-vocalist and guitarist Mike Shinoda saying two years ago that Linkin Park had no plans to tour or create a new album. Now they're doing both those things.

Shinoda said: "The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created.

"We feel really empowered with this new line-up and the vibrant and energised new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touch points we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones."

Following the huge announcement, everyone has the same question. How do I get tickets?

Where does the Linkin Park world tour go?

The band announced their new album From Zero alongside six dates in their new world tour, which is named after the new album.

It will see the band play five dates in September 2024. They will play Los Angeles (11th) and New York (16th) in the USA before moving on to Hamburg (22nd) in Germany and London (24th) in the UK .

A gig is then planned for Seoul (28th) in South Korea before a final show in Bogota, Colombia, with the final date taking place in November on the 11th.

Tickets go on general sale from Friday, 13 September 10am local time.

How do i access the linkin park presale.

Linkin Park has confirmed that there will be two presale windows on Ticketmaster for its six concert dates.

To get access, you need to have been a member of the Linkin Park Underground, known as the LPU. This is the official fan club of the band, with the type of membership you have dictating when you get access.

Those who are LPU Legacy members (Passport Plus members who signed up prior to 24 August) will get presale access first, followed by LPU Passport Plus members who signed up after 5 September.

General sale will then follow on Ticketmaster .

The Los Angeles LPU Legacy presale is at 10am local time today (6 September), with the LPU Passport Plus presale at midday local time. The New York LPU Legacy presale is the same.

Bogota tickets will take place at the same local time (10am and midday) on 9 September. Seoul tickets will combine both LPU memberships in to one presale window at 10am on 11 September.

Presale tickets for Hamburg and London will take place at the same local time (10am and midday) on 12 September.

General sale for the US dates will be on Saturday (7 September) with all other dates going on general sale on Friday (13 September).

Oasis tickets: Full list of 2025 reunion tour dates, and when they go on sale

The return that once seemed out of the question has finally been confirmed sending fans into a frenzy.

“This is it, this is happening”.

As the world-famous, long-feuding Mancunian brothers said in their reunion announcement on Tuesday morning, Oasis are getting back together for a series of stadium gigs across the UK and Ireland next summer.

Liam and Noel Gallagher haven’t performed together in nearly 15 years, but fans across the globe, whose ears will have perked up at recent rumours and near-confirmations , now have less than 12 months to wait until the pair are side by side on stage again.

The announcement has not only grabbed worldwide headlines but sent fans into a ticket frenzy and an “unprecedented demand” in the ballot registration for access to pre-sale tickets has prompted the band to add three extra dates to the reunion tour in Manchester, London and Edinburgh.

But the brothers have made it clear they will not be playing any festivals next year.

Posting on X, they said: “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year.

“The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”

Here’s everything you need to know about the Oasis reunion tour, including where and when the band is playing and when tickets go on sale.

Where are Oasis playing in 2025?

The band are set to play a series of 14 gigs between July and August 2025, at stadiums in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

The reunion tour kicks off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 4-5 July, followed by four nights each at Manchester Heaton Park and London’s Wembley Stadium, two nights at Murrayfield in Edinburgh and a final double-header at Croke Park in Dublin on 16-17 August 2025.

There are also reportedly plans for gigs outside Europe, though these have yet to be confirmed.

When do Oasis tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the reunion gigs are set to go on sale at 9am British Standard Time (BST), or 8am in Ireland, on Saturday 31 August 2024 , the band’s much anticipated announcement revealed on Tuesday morning .

According to the announcement shared by both brothers and the official band account on X, tickets will be available to buy from that time this Saturday on either Ticketmaster.co.uk , Ticketmaster.ie , or gigsandtours.com .

Ticket prices have yet to be confirmed, but are set to be announced on Thursday 29 August and will likely cost in excess of £100 each, with VIP and resale prices almost certainly rising well above that.

Fans will reportedly be able to buy four tickets each, with the announcement page on the band’s website also offering a word of advice: “We strongly advise that those wishing to purchase tickets r egister in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies .”

Is there a pre-sale ballot?

In a bid to manage demand, a ballot for access to pre-sale tickets was set up which closed on Wednesday evening.

The band said the ballot was set up to “ensure the maximum number of fans have a fair opportunity to access tickets”.

Registration for the ballot closed at 7pm BST on 28 August.

Fans who applied had to fill out their contact details and answer a general knowledge question about the band.

Tickets will still be allocated on a first-come, first -served basis for those successful in the ballot.

In a statement on social media on Thursday, Oasis said that “due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries” a number of confirmation emails were still being processed and sent out.

So the deadline to confirm entry has now been extended to 10am BST on Friday 30 August.

The band added: “If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow (Friday) by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information.

“Thank you for your patience.”

When was oasis’s last live gig.

Their last live gig took place 15 years ago during their Dig Out Your Soul tour, with the Gallagher brothers’ most recent performance together having been at V Festival in Staffordshire on 22 August 2009.

On 28 August that year, Noel, 57, quit the rock group, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.

Following years of spats, their disbanding was finally prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, with fans pleading with the brothers – who have each gone on to pursue separate music careers – to reconcile and regroup ever since.

Reunion rumours intensified over the weekend after they both teased an announcement for 8am on Tuesday, amid reports that the feuding brothers were ending their disagreement.

Confirming the Oasis Live 25 tour, they said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

A black-and-white image of the two brothers, both in dark jackets, was also released.

It is believed they met in person for a photoshoot over the summer. It has not yet been announced who will be performing with Liam and Noel as part of Oasis on their reunion tour.

Your next adventure: London, England

Join National Geographic photographer Jonathan Irish as he explores London’s iconic landmarks, lush green spaces, and cultural hot spots in search of new ways to enjoy this captivating city.

pokemon go tour london

From Big Ben—the massive, 15-ton bell that sits within the Great Clock of Elizabeth Tower, Westminster—to the gothic facade of the Houses of Parliament, London is awash in iconic buildings that feel instantly familiar. Though for National Geographic photographer Jonathan Irish , even return trips can feel new if you take the time to explore beyond the tried and true. “London is such a big city, but you can get into spaces where it doesn’t feel that way at all,” says Irish. “The way I do it is to go slow. Because the slower you go, the more you see.”

Discover London, England , through Irish’s lens, and see why this city should be your next adventure.

Embrace British history and heritage

Immersing oneself in London’s culture is essential for a memorable trip, and for Irish, this meant stopping by Lock & Co. Hatters .

“I love hats, and was beyond excited to go to Lock & Co. Hatters, the oldest hat shop in the world, to get a custom-fit hat.” Jonathan Irish , National Geographic Photographer

Lock & Co. Hatters, located on St. James Street in central London, is renowned for its rich history and classic hat designs.

The history of hats in London reflects the city’s rich cultural evolution, from the iconic bowler hats of the Victorian era to the fashionable couture hats seen at royal events, showcasing centuries of style and social significance. Lock & Co. Hatters , established in 1676, represents the pinnacle of British heritage and craftsmanship.

The 19th-century wooden hatmaker’s tools and mechanical sizing instruments scattered throughout the store create an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you’re stepping back in time. Visitors will also find the walls adorned with framed and   signed head   shapes of notable figures who have worn their handiwork, and the amiable shopkeepers are also a wealth of knowledge on all things related to London history and culture. While there, Irish learned that in Victorian London, it was a mark of respect and formality to wear a hat on Sundays to church and for other social occasions.

pokemon go tour london

As for style and fits, the shop boasts something for every occasion, but it was the traditional bowler hat that caught Irish’s eye. “I’m not sure yet when or where I’ll wear it,” Irish says of his new prize. “But it fits me perfectly, and is a classic.”

Another must-do when trying to embrace British culture? A traditional Sunday roast. “In the U.S., we have Sunday dinner; in England, they have Sunday roast. It’s a time-honored tradition, and The Dickens Inn is the perfect place for it,” says Irish.

pokemon go tour london

The meal typically includes roasted meats, potatoes, and a selection of root vegetables, with gravy and Yorkshire pudding on the side. Hearty eaters can round all that out with the 18th-century inn’s selection of appetizers (don’t miss the pork and sage Scotch egg) and desserts (sticky toffee pudding is a must).

And no cultural adventure through London would be complete without a stop at the London Review Bookshop . Opened in the heart of Bloomsbury in 2003, the shop quickly established itself as an essential part of the capital’s cultural life. Today, you’ll find about 20,000 titles on the shop’s shelves, along with a space where people can gather, meet authors, and discuss big ideas.

The London Review Bookshop is known for its curated selection of rare and unusual books, often showcased in themed displays reflecting current events and cultural trends.

Discover the city’s green side

With more than 3,000 parks dotting the city, it’s likely that visitors could overlook a few. But one to add to your list: Saint Dunstan in the East Church Garden .

“Saint Dunstan’s is like this little piece of heaven in the middle of the city.” Jonathan Irish , National Geographic Photographer

This enchanting urban green oasis sits among the ruins of an old church that was severely damaged in both the 1666 Great Fire of London and the Blitz of 1941. In 1970, the space opened as a garden, and well-placed benches now encourage guests to pause and take it all in. The natural vines and greenery running among the gray-stone ruins create a woodland feel, allowing tourists and locals alike to enjoy moments of calm right in the heart of a bustling city.

St. Dunstan in the East Church Garden, a hidden gem harboring nearly a thousand years of history, offers a tranquil retreat juxtaposing dramatic history with serene beauty.

For those willing to trek a bit farther out, be sure to take a “ramble” (as Londoners call it) to Hampstead Heath . Less than four miles from London’s city center, this free, public park offers more than 800 acres of woodlands, meadows, and breathtaking English gardens, and beckons those who enjoy quiet, green spaces and people watching. For epic views of the city, pop up to the Parliament Hill viewpoint, where the hubbub of central London feels a world away.

Parliament Hill Viewpoint in Hampstead Heath provides one of the best panoramic views of London’s skyline, making it popular spot for visitors to enjoy the cityscape and relax.

Other must-sees include the Viaduct Bridge , a striking example of Victorian engineering set amid lush greenery, and The Hill Garden and Pergola , a hidden gem with stunning terraced gardens and charming, overgrown pergolas that offer a tranquil retreat.

To come.

If you’re hungry after your stroll, be sure to check out nearby Ginger & White for a caffeine boost and a bite to eat. “It’s a very quaint neighborhood, and where we had one of the best meals of the entire trip,” says Irish. He recommends the coffee (“some of the best I’ve ever had”) and the Blythburgh bacon sandwich (a seemingly simple concoction topped with arugula, avocado, and chili mayo that packs a punch).

Ginger & White in the village of Hampstead features a cozy café with both a sit-down restaurant and a convenient to-go window that offer a wide selection of fresh, artisanal foods and beverages.

Marvel at classic landmarks

While the returning tourist might scoff at suggestions to embrace some of London’s classic landmarks, the truth is that no trip to London would be complete without them. Places like the London Eye , Westminster Abbey , and St. James’s Park are popular for a reason. On your next trip, consider seeing them in new ways.

To start, board the elevator for a 41-second trip to the 833-foot top of Horizon 22 . There, almost scraping the clouds, London’s highest free viewing platform offers floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the city and its iconic landmarks. “It’s always good to get a bird’s-eye view of a place when you’re experiencing it, and this provides probably the best one,” says Irish. “You’re in the heart of the city while looking out over it.”

Horizon 22’s floor-to-ceiling windows not only maximize natural light, but also provide breathtaking, unobstructed views of London’s skyline and surrounding landmarks.

Another great way to take in the London skyscape is from the water. A cruise on the River Thames with an operator like City Experiences is a chance to snap photos of the Tower Bridge , London Bridge , and Big Ben while relaxing on a two-hour cruise, drink in hand and enjoying live jazz music on deck. For photographers, the shift in perspective is a chance to see things anew.

“The highlight was going under Tower Bridge. Seeing it from the water is really unique and interesting.” Jonathan Irish , National Geographic Photographer

And, of course, packing a good pair of walking shoes for your visit is a no-brainer. The city’s neighborhoods make it easy to craft your own route, discover self-guided tours, or rely on local experts through guided walking tours .

Uncover hidden gems

When approached with time and patience, London reveals itself. Gems are hidden in plain sight, and wandering is often the best way to spot them. Irish discovered the city’s eclectic personality in spots like Neal’s Yard ―a colorful alleyway chockablock with shops and cafes in Covent Garden . “It feels like a secret,” Irish says. “Like you’ve stumbled upon a really special place.”

The colorful facades of the buildings in Neal’s Yard add a unique and cheerful charm to the area, making it a popular spot for photographs and exploration.

Over near the River Thames in Southwark, Irish found the Ruins of Winchester Palace . The 12th-century buildings were once palatial in stature and home to the city’s powerful bishops. Today, you’ll find the ruins, including a gorgeous medieval rose window, still stand tall.

London is brimming with hidden gems, such as the ruins of Winchester Palace, which offer a fascinating glimpse into the city’s medieval history amid its modern surroundings.

For a different peek at history, visit the Golden Hinde , a full-size reconstruction of the famous Elizabethan galleon, or get lost in the historic Borough Market , where you can chat with food purveyors and local traders as Londoners have since 1756.

And so much more…

London is calling: Whether this is your first visit or your 100th, you’ll find a city brimming with unique and captivating wonders, especially if you take the time to soak it all in.

“With its iconic buildings, history, and culture, London is a place you might think you know―but there’s so much more to discover here.” Jonathan Irish , National Geographic Photographer

Will Oasis announce more reunion tour dates?

Oasis’ reunion tour sparked ticket sale chaos on Saturday as fans reported website crashes and inflated prices .

Fifteen years after their fiery split which sparked a long-standing feud , Noel and Liam Gallagher announced Oasis are set to reform for a string of shows.

It marks 30 years since the Britpop band released their influential debut album Definitely Maybe , which contains the singles Supersonic, Shakermaker, Live Forever, and Cigarettes & Alcohol.

The Wonderwall hitmakers are set to play venues across the UK and Ireland next year, with fans left devastated during general sales due to website crashes and ‘in demand pricing’ seeing ticket costs increase dramatically.

But is there a chance they can stop crying their hearts out with more tour dates set to be announced? Here’s what we know.

Are Oasis releasing more tour dates?

Metro.co.uk  understands no further European shows are expected to be announced , but international dates will be revealed at a later date.

Additional UK dates were added ahead of tickets going on sale due to ‘unprecedented demand’ , with shows scheduled for Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

Oasis’ UK and Ireland tour dates for 2025 include:

Oasis 2025 reunion tour dates

July 4 – Cardiff, Principality Stadium

July 5 – Cardiff, Principality Stadium

July 11 – Manchester, Heaton Park

July 12 – Manchester, Heaton Park

July 16 – Manchester, Heaton Park

July 19 – Manchester, Heaton Park

July 20 – Manchester, Heaton Park

July 25 – London, Wembley Stadium

July 26 – London, Wembley Stadium

July 30 – London, Wembley Stadium

August 2 – London, Wembley Stadium

August 3 – London, Wembley Stadium

August 8 – Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium

August 9 – Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium

August 12 – Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium

August 16 – Dublin, Croke Park

All hope is not lost for those hoping to bag tickets , with Ticketmaster fan-to-fan resale on hand to snap up tickets from those looking to sell theirs.

Fans can also buy Oasis tickets at face value or less from Twickets after being warned not to give money to other resale sites.

Oasis themselves released an official warning online, which read: ‘We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters.’

Pre-sale tickets opened on August 30 at 7pm BST and were soon snapped up by lucky fans who got a code in their inbox that gave them the first chance to get them.

However, many dedicated fans were left ticketless and waiting in a queue of thousands as tickets went up for sale on unofficial sites for extortionate costs – some even reaching £10,000.

The same issues occurred during general sales, with some tickets being resold for more than £110,000 and many fans reporting being mistaken for bots and booted from ticketing sites.

Mid-sale, one fan on X screenshotted a ticket on the site going for £356.80, while user mufcag90 raged: ‘After hours of queuing they now increase general admission from £158 to £355 plus fees, and rebrand them as “In Demand Standing”. Absolutely obscene. A total disaster.’

As per  MailOnline , Ticketmaster has said the extra money from the inflated prices for Oasis tickets will go to the band, sparking fury among fans. The band have not yet addressed the controversy.

Those booking hotels for their chosen dates have also been left fuming by various accommodations increasing their prices due to the surge in those travelling for the shows.

Who is supporting Oasis?

Manchester indie legends Blossoms are reportedly set to support Oasis for their reunion shows.

A source told The Sun : ‘Noel and Liam and Blossoms have been friends for years and with the band also coming from Manchester asking them to support Oasis was a no-brainer.

‘It will be announced in due course but Blossoms have agreed to support Oasis at their Heaton park shows – naturally they jumped at the chance.’

‘It’s a full circle moment for them as members Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan’s first ever gig was at Oasis at Heaton Park.’

Earlier in 2024 the band – comprised of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Joe Donovan, Josh Dewhurst, and Myles Kellock – supported Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds during a one-off Royal Albert Hall show in London.

The group formed in 2013 and are famed for singles such as There’s A Reason Why, Your Girlfriend, and Charlemagne.
