    I'll take at face value that you don't want to self drive. My advice for a lodge-based safari would be to either organize it independently (simply a case of booking the lodge, booking the flights and booking the transfer) or to use a safari specialist tour operator who can arrange everything for you. I wouldn't use Kuoni, Virgin or any operator who doesn't specialize in safari.
