How much is Taylor Swift's Eras Tour merch?

If you're looking to get your hands on a hoodie or a sweater commemorating your time at the Eras Tour, you're looking at around £60-75 (€75-80/$55-75). On the other end of the price list, the cheapest items are the reusable water bottle £15 (€20/$25) and the tote bag £25 (€30/$30).

As of Taylor's June 2024 London dates, all merch on sale now includes the new Eras Tour design with Tortured Poets Department imagery included.

Here's the list of everything you can buy at the merch stand on the Eras Tour:

  • Hoodies - £70/€80/$75
  • Blue crewneck sweater - £60/€75/$65
  • Quarter-zip Pullover - £65/€75/$65
  • Long sleeve t-shirt - £40/€45/$55
  • Tour t-shirts (Black, white, cream/beige) - £40/€45/$45

If you're buying Eras Tour merch in the US, the merch stand also notes that tax will be added to the prices shown on the board too. So make sure you've got enough to cover the costs of everything you're planning on buying.

Can you buy Eras Tour merch on Taylor Swift's website?

There's a handful of items in the merch truck that are pretty much the same as what Taylor is selling on her website. The black and beige t-shirts are currently available to buy on Taylor's merch site, as well as the Eras 'bejeweled' bracelet. There's also variations on several of the hoodies available too.

Unfortunately, the viral blue crewneck sweater and the grey zip sweater that everyone has been scrambling to get their hands on are not available to buy online. The sweaters are so popular that fans are also warning others that people without tickets have been queuing up to buy them in bulk in order to sell online at a much, much higher price.

There's also different items on Taylor's website that are not available at the merch truck or any of the booths inside.

Can you buy Eras Tour merch inside the stadium?

Yep, there's also merch stands inside the stadiums too so you don't have to spend your time queuing in the long lines outside.

However, the booths inside may not have the same wide variety of items that the truck outside has. Fans have been able to get their hands on the cheaper items, such as water bottles, tote bags, posters and tour tees, but have had little luck finding the coveted sweaters and hoodies inside the venue.

Eras Tour early merch: What time can you buy Taylor Swift Eras Tour merch in Dublin, Ireland?

Much like her previous UK shows, Taylor has also given Irish fans an opportunity to get their hands on merch before her string of three shows even begins.

If you want to get your merch before the show, a huge merch store has been set up in the 3Arena, North Wall Quay. Here are the opening times:

  • Thursday 27th June - 10AM - 8PM
  • Friday 29th June - 10AM ONWARDS
  • Saturday 29th June - 10AM ONWARDS
  • Sunday 30th June - 10AM ONWARDS

Early merch locations will likely be busier on show days as more fans will be in the area. Based on first hand experiences at the early merch location in London, smaller sizes run out very quickly. However, stock is replenished frequently and they rarely sell out of an item.

Here's everything fans need to know about Taylor Swift's Eras Tour merch in 2024.

Your Guide To Getting Taylor Swift Eras Tour Merch In 2024

The blue crewneck is more $$$ in Europe.

With the international leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in full swing, the quest for copping the viral blue crewneck has officially begun again. Basically, “look what you made me do” has a whole new meaning as Swifties are braving long lines to get their hands on merch like Eras Tour tees and hoodies.

Some of these lines have been almost as long as Swift’s 45-song setlist , so to help with demand, Eras Tour merch trucks and stands have been opening up days before the “Fortnight” singer takes the stage in each city. Going early is the best opportunity for Swifties to get exclusive items before they sell out. And according to TikToker @jizellemaia, once an item, like the viral blue crewneck, sells out in your city, they are not restocking .

To give you an idea of how popular some Eras Tour merch is, the $65 blue Eras Tour sweatshirt was so popular in 2023 that resellers were listing it for over $400 online. After everything fans have already had to deal with just trying to get tickets to The Eras Tour , there should be no bad blood getting merch as well. To avoid your day going down in flames, here’s how to make the most of your time at The Eras Tour, figure out which merch items are worth getting, and know what’s new in 2024.

You Can Usually Find Eras Tour Merch Days Before Your Show

Taylor Swift Eras Tour merch is being sold outside venues.

“Take advantage of early merch” is one of @jizellemaia’s top tips for the Eras Tour, as everything is only available while supplies last. Times may vary from city to city, so your best bet is to keep an eye on X, TikTok, or your stadium’s website for any updates. The merch truck in Paris opened two days before the first show at the París La Défense Arena on May 9.

Since Eras Tour merch is typically found outside the venue, you don’t need a ticket to the show in order to shop. Select items will also be available inside for ticket holders the day of the show, but not every booth may have what you’re looking for if supplies are running low. I attended the second show in Las Vegas, and the merch table I went to inside the stadium wasn’t carrying the blue crewneck or even the show poster that’s exclusive to each city.

International Eras Tour Prices Are Relatively The Same — Except The Blue Crewneck

The prices are generally the same for Eras Tour merch in Europe.

Before going to the Eras Tour merch truck or booth, here is a breakdown of the prices to see if it’s in your budget. Just know that some items are different from U.S. prices, based on international conversion rates:

  • Hoodies — $86
  • Crewneck — $81
  • Quarter Zip Pullover — $81
  • Long Sleeve T-Shirt — $54
  • T-Shirts — $49
  • Canvas Tapestry — $32
  • Bracelet — $38
  • Show Poster — $27
  • Tote Bag — $32
  • Water Bottle — $27
  • Glow Baton — $15
  • Towel — $17

While prices appear to be almost the same internationally as they were in the U.S., the viral blue crewneck is going to cost you more this year than it did in 2023. When Swift was touring the U.S., the trendy sweatshirt was just $65, but now it’s listed for €75 in Paris. With currency conversion, that’s closer to $81. When being a Swiftie is already so expensive , it’s unfortunate you now have to spend an extra $16 for the most prized Eras Tour swag.

The International Leg Has New Eras Tour Merch

The Eras Tour international dates have new merch items, like a towel and tote bag.

While most of the Eras Tour merch for 2024 looks to be about the same — minus the change in city names and year — there are a few new items that Swifties peeped in @weeenameco ’s TikTok. The first is a brand-new Eras Tour tote bag . Instead of a black tote bag with a colorful Eras Tour logo and the names of the U.S. tour cities, this international version is cream with a black logo on the front and the international cities on the back.

The second new item is a $17 Eras Tour towel that one fan on X, formerly Twitter, has already said they need “so bad.” It appears to be thin, so it’s not something you’d want to take with you to lounge on at the beach. However, it looks like it might not be available at all international shows since it doesn’t appear in TikToker @zozomccormack’s Eras Tour merch vlog .

There’s New Eras Tour Merch Online With TTPD Included

Taylor Swift has new Eras Tour merch including a blue hoodie.

After Swift’s first show in Paris on May 9, she added new Eras Tour merch to her online store with the addition of The Tortured Poets Department . Now that TTPD is officially a part of the setlist , it deserves a spot in the iconic Eras Tour logo.

In the lineup of 2024 Eras Tour items, there’s even a blue hoodie that looks just like the exclusive crewneck. It’s slightly cheaper than the sweatshirt version and easier to shop since you don’t even have to leave your couch to make a purchase.

If you really want the crewneck version, though, you could look for Eras Tour merch dupes on Etsy. Since anyone can go to these stands and most of these items have been available for over a year, it kind of takes away the exclusivity anyway.

This slight fade is related to the product’s distressed, vintage look.

Also, Swifties have expressed their disappointment in the quality of the merch before. One specific design, featuring photos of Swift from different phases of her career on items like the aforementioned tote bag, has been known to fade. Swift’s team has come out saying this is an intentional style choice. “This slight fade is related to the product’s distressed, vintage look,” read a statement on Swift’s official online store .

Fans of Taylor Swift at the official merch truck before the Eras Tour.

Their statement also called out how fans should care for the items post-purchase, adding, “Please also note it is important to follow product care instructions as listed on the product label when washing and drying your items, to best protect and maintain the product’s look and feel.”

Ultimately, if you just want something to say, “I was there,” finding some of the less popular tour-exclusive items like the water bottle are much easier the day of your show. When I went to the Eras Tour, I only waited about 20 minutes at a booth right past security and was able to get the water bottle, baton, and shirt I wanted. Another booth around the corner had a much shorter line with the tote bag and show poster. There was also a main merch table right inside the stadium that still had everything.

Tips For Getting The Eras Tour Merch You Really Want

A Swiftie showed up early to get Taylor Swift Eras Tour merch in Tokyo, Japan.

If popular merch items are a priority for you, I recommend showing up early when doors open and trying to get to the main table inside ASAP rather than waiting hours for the truck or booth outside. You can avoid some of the warm weather by going inside the venue, but remember to bring Eras Tour essentials with you if you do plan to camp out.

For anyone waiting for the merch outside, try to show up as early as possible to give yourself the best chance of getting what you want before it sells out. Be sure to check the inventory before stepping in line as well. They tend to run out of certain sizes early, and you don’t want to get to the front only to realize they don’t have what you need anymore.

If you do get the wrong size and you find another merch table that has the right one, Jordan Walker ( @fairytaleswift ) told Elite Daily that it’s possible to exchange. “We went to another [table] and they simply swapped sizes, so that was great,” she shared. Just give yourself plenty of time before the show to get all the merch you want. Swift’s set has been starting around 8 p.m., so you have from doors open till then to make all the purchases you need.

The Differences Between Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Merch Online Vs. In Person

From online-only merch to fading tees, buying Eras swag is almost as complicated as getting tickets.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Merch: What To Buy Online Vs. In Person

Buying tickets to Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour was so difficult that it spawned lawsuits that could very well change Ticketmaster as we know it. But believe it or not, there’s one thing that’s almost just as much of a hassle to obtain (and apparently maintain): Eras Tour merch because of extensively long lines, ranges of online-exclusive merch , and reports of certain items fading after just one wash . If you play your cards right though, it is possible to snatch up Swift’s merch with ease – and perhaps even nab some items no one else at the concert will get.

Swift has made merch accessible for fans who couldn’t get their hands on Eras Tour tickets by opening up her dedicated merch truck to the public in every Eras Tour city the day before each show. However, it’s taken some fans almost as long to buy merch as it did to buy their tickets in November, with lines stretching out to more than six hours long. Some people have also been camping out and buying literal cases of merch to resell online, leading Swift’s team to place limits on how many items can be bought per person.

If you have tickets to the show, merch lines aren’t quite as long once you enter the stadium, but you need to plan your day in advance if you’re after something specific. And if you don’t want to wait in line at all for Eras Tour merch, you’re in luck, but only to an extent. Swift’s online store carries a few of the items sold at the show, as well as a wide array of clothing, accessories, and other themed gadgets that are available exclusively online for the time being. However, a significant amount of pieces are only sold at the physical merch stands, making for some confusion on what to get.

Here’s your guide to Swift’s Eras Tour merch, including the whole fading issue.

What To Buy At The Eras Tour Merch Stand

Swift sells a variety of T-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies at the Eras Tour, most of which use the tour poster design and come in various colors, with the exception of a long-sleeve T-shirt that only has the image representing Midnights . Some of the most sought-after pieces, including the half-zip sweatshirt, a navy blue logo crewneck sweater, and a beige hoodie with a black-and-white tour poster on the back, are only sold at the merch truck, not at any of the merch stands inside the venue. If these are what you have your eye on, make sure to buy before heading into the stadium.

Most of the accessories sold at the show are only available in person, including the Eras Tour tote bag, canvas tapestry, water bottle, and glow baton. The only accessory that you can currently buy online is the “Bejeweled” bracelet, which has been sold on Swift’s online store since October. Each tour stop also has a personalized poster with the city’s name on it, which is also made available on the online store for a limited time after the shows.

What To Buy On The Eras Tour Online Store

Before the Eras Tour even began, Swift released a range of Eras Tour merch that fans can buy in advance and wear to their show. Many pieces are similar to those available at the merch stand, but there are slight differences between what’s sold online and in person. For example, the beige T-shirt sold at the stand has a black-and-white tour poster print, while the online shirt is in color , and the navy blue crewneck is sold as a very similar hoodie online. The only T-shirt that’s identical both online and at the venue is the black tour poster T-shirt .

taylor swift tour merch eras

The amount of merch available online is vast compared to what’s been sold at shows thus far. Currently, Swift’s store carries individual Eras Tour shirts for each era , from her 2006 debut to 2022’s Midnights , as well as outerwear with new designs not sold at the show, including an Eras Tour poncho in case you want to prepare for a rain show, which Swift famously loves.

taylor swift tour merch eras

Swifties aren’t the only ones taking advantage of this exclusive merch. After attending Swift’s show in Arlington, Texas, on April 1, her close friend Selena Gomez donned a pair of Eras Tour sweatpants, which are only available online for now.

Selena Gomez is seen filming "Only Murders in the Building" in Washington Heights on April 04, 2023 ...

Swift is also selling a huge variety of fun accessories not available at tour venues, including AirPods cases , a special Eras blanket , coasters shaped like guitar picks , actual guitar picks , and even a phone case with interchangeable frames for each era. Speaking from experience, it’s very easy to spend more money on merch than you did for your actual ticket, so be sure to plan wisely.

Will Your Eras Tour Merch Fade?

After the first shows of the Eras Tour, merch-buyers complained that their T-shirts drastically faded after just one wash. In a statement on Swift’s online store, the merch team explained that the “slight fade” is intentional for “the product’s distressed, vintage look” and is a result of the “particular ink curing process” that was used on the shirts. “Please also note it is important to follow product care instructions as listed on the product label when washing and drying your items, to best protect and maintain the product's look and feel,” they wrote.

However, Swift’s team is offering exchanges if buyers notice a “dramatic loss of pigment or ink bleeding” on their shirts, simply asking them to contact [email protected] to see if their case would fall under the exchange policy.

Ed Sheeran joins Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium: Follow live updates from London

Portrait of Bryan West

LONDON — Welcome to the live blog for the Eras Tour in London!

Taylor Swift returns to the stage for the final stop on the European leg of the Eras Tour after a suspected terror plot was thwarted in Vienna. Security measures are tight at Wembley Stadium. Fans with floor tickets were not allowed to camp overnight in the hopes of getting a spot closer to the stage, and Swifties can no longer "Taylor-gate" outside of the stadium if they don't have tickets.

As the Taylor Swift reporter for the USA TODAY Network, I’ll be your host for the evening keeping you updated on all the happenings from inside Wembley Stadium. Since taking the Taylor Swift reporter job in November, I’ve watched the show 69 times in person or on grainy livestreams (equivalent to 230 hours or nine and a half days). Follow along for updates as we go on a little adventure spanning 18 years of music.

Confetti falls to the floor

And that’s a wrap on Thursday night in Wembley. Swift has four more shows in London. “The Alchemy” is ushering fans out as cleanups begin. Many fans are scurrying to pick up colorful confetti representing Swift’s various eras.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

The credits for the cast and crew are projecting on the back screen.

During year one, the background song was “You’re On Your Own Kid” from “Midnights.”

Will Swift make an announcement before her two-month break and return to North America?

We will be covering the highlights over the next few days.

Karma is the guy on the...

We are in the final song of the night.

Swift wore the glistening sky-blue T-shirt during “Anti-Hero,” the dark blue one-piece during "Midnight Rain" and is now grooving in the magenta fur coat to wrap up night one in Wembley Stadium.

She has sang "Karma (Travis' Version)" 13 times for the 13 shows he's attended as her boyfriend where she swaps out "Karma is the guy on the screen" with "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs." And while she will sing the former tonight, the audience will most likely scream the latter.

Ed Sheeran joins Eras Tour stage

Swift welcomed special guest Ed Sheeran to join her onstage for a mashup of their songs "Everything Has Changed" and "End Game" on acoustic guitar. The British singer-songwriter appeared on the original album recordings of the songs that appeared on "Red (Taylor's Version)" and "Reputation," respectively.

For the surprise set, the singer had something up her sleeveless blue dress. She began strumming her guitar singing “Everything Has Changed” from “Red (Taylor’s Version).”

The audience gasped. Some Swifties whispered, “Is Ed here?”

The song is a duet between Swift and her longtime friend Ed Sheeran.

“I just feel like something’s missing,” Swift said, and the decibel level in the stadium rocketed off the charts. “Good thing Ed Sheeran is here.”

He appeared on the center platform.

After harmonizing, the two mashed in “End Game,” another duet they sing on Swift’s sixth album “Reputation.” They finished with Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.”

The crowd belted the song.

As they both strummed at the end, they gave each other a big hug and raised their guitars in the air. Swift kissed the top of Ed Sheeran’s head and then ruffled his red locks.

“This is my best friend, he is like a second brother to me,” Swift said, mentioning Sheeran is on tour and probably tired. She asked the crowd to make some noise and the noise felt like it might break the sound barrier.

The shock that surged through the stadium with Ed Sheeran as a surprise guest couldn’t be matched but Swift delivered a sweet mashup on the piano between “King of My Heart” from “Reputation” and “The Alchemy” from “The Tortured Poets Department.” The watches glowed bright green.Where’s the trophy? That was an epic surprise set for night one in Wembley!

Here comes the 'Tayoomba'

She was tame, she was gentle. But now Swift is on the Roomba-esque machine. The maddening and shiny contraption allows her to belt high notes while chasing her dancers.

During the last few shows in Germany and Warsaw, Poland, Swift added a shriek after the second-to-last line, "So who's afraid of little old me?" She did it again in London on Thursday.

A cool effect that always gets fans excited is the final filtered shot on the back screen where Swift looks like a dead-eyed glowing soul. She always tilts her head to the side. She told Post Malone in her "Fortnight" behind-the-scenes video, "Nothing says crazy like a slight tilt to the head."

Wembley screams 'LON-DON' during 'Blank Space' chant

When Swift performed "Blank Space," one of her most famous songs and one of Travis Kelce's favorites, the crowd played its part. Between lines of the bridge, stadiums shout the names of their city while Swift sings, "Boys only want love if it's torture." This ritual started during Swift's stint in Sydney, Australia, because of the 1989 World Tour movie shot there in 2015. During the song, Swift grabbed an iron golf club and struck a metal pole sticking out of the stage: boom, boom. She paused and did it again: boom, boom. But this time sang "Syd-ney." You can read more about the chant here .

Wait for the signal and I'll meet you after dawn

The lightning in the stadium sounded and Swift sauntered to meet her dancers dressed in green cloaks at the back of the stage. Holding glass, light-up orbs they recited the "Willow" chant. This is when fans blow up balloons and use cell phone lights to make them glow.

The Wembley Stadium listed balloons as one of the items not allowed inside, but a few hundred fans made orbs anyway.

In Amsterdam, three Swifties started the "Willow" trend. You can check out their story here .

Wembley gives Swift 3-minute standing ovation

When she pulled her inner ears out after "Champagne Problems," the audience lost it. She smiled and clutched her hands to her chest.

“If any of us — me, the dancers or the band — have a bad day again, we are going to replay that little memory in our minds,” she said to the crowd.

Swift gets emotional during 'Folkmore' era

After finishing "Cardigan," Swift addressed the crowd.

"I just have to be honest with you guys now that I’ve calmed down a little bit," she said. "The first time I saw this crowd when I came out from backstage ... my whole mind went blank."

She described the feeling as a "love system overload."

"I can't believe that 92,000 people are being this loving and caring and generous to us all at once," she said. "It's just wonderful what you do for us. ... All of us are going to miss it so much when we don't get to do it anymore. Feelings and emotions that I didn’t think about before talking about in front of 92,000 people."

Eras Tour outfits

On Thursday, Swift wore the following:

  • Her blue and pink "Lover" bodysuit
  • Her silver blazer for "The Man"
  • Her black and silver "Fearless" dress
  • Her "A lot going on at the moment" T-shirt for "Red"
  • Her purple cupcake dress for "Speak Now"
  • Her classic "Reputation" bodysuit
  • Her green dress for "Folkmore"
  • Her green and pink top and skirt for "1989"
  • Her "Who's afraid of little old me? You should be" gown for "The Tortured Poets Department"
  • The black two-piece with a gold jacket for "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart"
  • Her blue dress for the acoustic set
  • Her sky-blue T-shirt for "Anti-Hero"
  • Her chevron bodysuit for "Midnight Rain"
  • Finally, Swift closed the show in her magenta fur coat

If you happen to have 10 minutes to spare...

Swift’s dancers exit the stage following “I Knew You Were Trouble” as Swift slings her guitar over her shoulder and heads to center stage alone. The Eras Tour's guitar hangs in anticipation of playing Swift's heartbreaking ballad from the “Red” era.

If not for the rerecording of her fourth era, Swifties may have never heard “All Too Well (10-Minute Version).” The singer stated in an interview that the original song had been edited down to five minutes. Fans implored her to release the lengthier version and she did as a vault song to “Red (Taylor’s Version).” The song skyrocketed on the charts, unseating “American Pie” by Don McLean as the longest No. 1 hit in Billboard’s Hot 100 chart history.

“We were lucky enough to play Wembley stadium back in June, were any of you there?” she asked Thursday to get a loud cheer response. “Thanks for coming back, you guys.”She asks if anyone is new. An even louder roar erupts.

Swift has performed the 10 minute and 13 second song 127 times. In total, that’s 1,298 minutes or 22 hours. At the end, white confetti will fall to the ground to represent snow referenced in the heartbreak anthem.

What did Kam say?

A fan-favorite for livestreamers is to log on and see what dancer Kameron Saunders is going to say during the bridge of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

When Swift performed 53 shows across America, he said “Like Ever” as a response to Swift saying, “So he calls me up and he’s like, ‘I still love you,' and I mean this is exhausting, like we are never getting back together.” But for her international shows he mixed up the expression catering it to the culture and language of each international city.

On Thursday in London, Saunders said, “Are you mad?”

For a complete list of Saunders' sayings, click here .

The coveted '22' hat

Taylor Swift emerged for her “Red” era in her "A Lot Going On at the Moment" shirt. Swift has six custom-made shirts including: “We are never getting back together like ever,” “Who’s Taylor Swift anyway? Ew,” “This is not Taylor’s Version,” “I bet you think about me” and “I knew U were trouble.”

Different than her other tours, there are no meet-and-greets or secret fan rooms, so the closest a mere mortal can get to the superstar is being the one chosen as the “22" hat recipient. Swift’s team makes the selection moments before the concert begins and usually invites that person to the VIP tent area. At the conclusion of the “Fearless” era, her team will bring the lucky fan down to the end of the catwalk.

Swift autographs the brim of the black fedora designed by milliner Gladys Tamez.

“I’ve been like so, so humble and so grateful to do this,” Tamez said in April, “because I’ve worked with her team for a long time and then to have this moment, I was excited.”

Tonight Swift has chosen the 127th member of the exclusive "22" fedora club .

Idris Elba attends Eras Tour

Actor Idris Elba attended Thursday's show. It's only appropriate since he iconically introduced "London Boy" on the "Lover" album. Before the beat drops he says, "We can go drivin' in, on my scooter / Uh, you know, just 'round London."

During Swift's June residency at Wembley, an abundance of A listers attended including Prince William and two of his children,  Sir Paul McCartney,  Jon Bon Jovi, Hugh Grant, Cate Blanchett, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce and Swift's parents Scott and Andrea.

The last European shows of the Eras Tour

"What an absolute honor and what a delight and a thrill it is to say these words to you: London, welcome to the Eras Tour!" Swift told Wembley Stadium. “I stand here on this stage knowing that I’m about to play the first show of the last stop of the European leg of the Eras Tour, and the way that you’ve chosen to welcome us, 92,000 of you and screaming the words. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.”

Swift thanked her opening acts, starting with Sofia Isella.

“It’s crazy to me that it’s coming to an end,” Swift says of touring Europe with her opening act Paramore.

The show begins

Oh hi! Taylor Swift returns to the stage to perform her “Lover set.” This is the singer’s first appearance since her team canceled three shows in Vienna because of a thwarted terrorist plot. She glimmers in her blue and pink bodysuit.

The 34-year-old has five “Lover” bodysuit variations: tangerine, gold and blue, purple, pink, and blue and pink.

“Well fancy meeting you here at Wembley Stadium," she says, pointing to the restricted view section and tracing the arena. The 92,000 fans let out an ear-shattering roar.“OK well that was amazing. I’m really feeling like immediately that has gone to my head. You’ve got me feeling really, really powerful," she says as she puts on a silver jacket before singing "The Man."

Cue the Eras Tour overture

The backdrop screen to the Eras Tour just shifted to a countdown clock starting at 2:24. Leslie Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” fills the stadium.

When the tour first started in March of 2023, fans were surprised Swift began her set with “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince,” but the opener makes sense due to the lines “it’s been a long time coming” and “it’s you and me, that’s my whole world." Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Swift had to cancel her Loverfest stadium show in 2021 and hadn’t toured since the Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018.

After her first football stadium concert series and before the start of the Eras Tour, she released four new eras: “Lover,” “Folklore,” “Evermore” and “Midnights.” For the Eras Tour, she combined her 10 eras into a three-plus-hour show.

When Swift released “The Tortured Poets Department” in April — under the veil of secrecy — she and her dancers flew a little over a week early to Paris to rehearse an updated show. The crowd lost it when they saw the new version on May 9.

If you’re following along, here is the order of the eras in the overture:

  • “It's fearless”
  • “Big reputation”
  • “And they said ’Speak Now’”
  • “Into folklore”
  • “My name is Taylor, and I was born in 1989”
  • “Straight from the tortured poets department”
  • “Cause loving him was red”
  • “Meet me at midnight”

Standby: We're 'In Ha Mood'

The Ice Spice beat dropped. Swifties are trained to run back from the bathroom or concession stands as soon as they hear "In Ha Mood" begin playing. It means Taylor Swift will appear in about 10 minutes.

The dancers and band will make their way to the stage. Taylor Swift is hidden in a “cleaning cart” at the end of the cast walking up the ramp. Her cart is being pushed by production workers who will stop the cart right before a set of stairs that take Swift to the main platform.

“Applause” by Lady Gaga will play next. As the song blares across an anxious and excited audience, dancers will put pink and ombre parachute flaps on their backs and line up behind the main stage door.

Taylor Swift's massive set list of 46 songs

The crowd eagerly awaited the start of the show as the "Bejeweled" behind-the-scenes video played indicating Swift was about to embark on a three-plus-hour show era-by-era. Here is her 46-song setlist:

  • Lover: "Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince," "Cruel Summer," "The Man," "You Need to Calm Down" and "Lover"
  • Fearless: "Fearless," "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story"
  • Red: "22," "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "All Too Well (10-Minute Version)"
  • Speak Now: "Enchanted"
  • Reputation: "...Ready For It?" "Delicate," "Don't Blame Me" and "Look What You Made Me Do"
  • Folkmore (Folklore and Evermore combined set): "Cardigan," "Betty," "Champagne Problems," "August," "Illicit Affairs," "My Tears Ricochet," "Marjorie" and "Willow"
  • 1989: "Style," "Blank Space," "Shake it Off," "Wildest Dreams" and "Bad Blood"
  • The Tortured Poets Department: "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" and "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart"
  • Acoustic guitar mashup and acoustic piano mashup
  • Midnights: "Lavender Haze," "Anti-Hero," "Midnight Rain," "Vigilante S---," "Bejeweled," "Mastermind" and "Karma"

Paramore set list

“Oh yeah London! It’s good to be back with you," Hayley Williams boomed into the mic. "Oh how we’ve missed you. We can never get enough London. Ever!”“It’s an honor and a privilege to be here. Never in our entire world did we ever think we’d play at Wembley Stadium so thank you for making this possible.”Their set list included:

  • “Hard Times” with Blondie mashup of “Heart of Glass”
  • “Burning Down the House”
  • “Still Into You”
  • “Forgiveness”
  • “Caught in the Middle”
  • “The Only Exception”
  • “Misery Business”
  • “Ain’t It Fun”
  • “This Is Why”

The rousing opening act energized Wembley as Williams lay on the ground in the center spotlight and belted the end of “Ain’t It Fun.” London was overcast, with the open-roofed arena sitting at 73 degrees. The floor was packed with every inch covered by Swifties and the rest of the stadium filled to 60%. Swift will take the stage in about 30 minutes.

'Ain't it fun' that Paramore is here?

Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro have been the opening act for Taylor Swift on the European leg of the  Eras Tour . The trio have dazzled for 43 shows across Europe. They will wrap their involvement on Tuesday and make their way back to Nashville, Tennessee, where they're based.

Right before leaving for Paris in May, Paramore was dubbed the Global Ambassadors for Record Store Day, a title Swift held in 2022. They surprised fans at Grimey's record store in Nashville.

Swift's final opening act for the remaining North America shows will be Gracie Abrams.

Is Travis Kelce coming back to Eras Tour?

It's not likely Swift's boyfriend will be at the shows in England. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has his final training camp practice on Thursday before the Chiefs' preseason home game on Saturday against the Detroit Lions. Although Swift could make the following preseason home game on Aug. 22 as the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears.

Who could forget Travis Kelce breaking the internet the last time Swift performed in Wembley by appearing on stage to carry her after her symbolic crash to the ground from "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived." He attempted to revive her alongside backup dancers Jan Ravnik and Kameron Saunders so she could sing, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Sofia Isella set list

“This is the most insane view I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” opening act Sofia Isella told Wembley Stadium.

Her set list included:

  • “Cacao and Cocaine”
  • “Everybody Supports Women”
  • “Unattractive”
  • “I Looked the Future in the Eyes, It's Mine”

Isella played six songs in her 25-minute set.

Sofia Isella takes the stage

Similar to inviting three artists to open before Paramore in June, Swift has invited five singers to share the stage in Wembley Stadium. Up first is Sofia Isella , a 19-year-old classically trained violinist, songwriter, producer and singer. The rising star was born in Beverly Hills, California, but lives in Australia.

When Swift let the cat out of the bag on Aug. 5, Isella shared a message on Instagram: "Someone I’ve never met has changed my life even more than she already has just through her writing alone. Your fearlessness in continuing to push yourself and win again and again is the most joyful thing to watch, Taylor. Thank you."

The acts that will open the rest of the Wembley dates are:

  • Friday: Holly Humberstone
  • Saturday: Suki Waterhouse
  • Monday: Maisie Peters
  • Tuesday: Raye

Doors are open

It's official. Wembley Stadium has just opened the doors to allow VIP guests into the arena. The general admission sections will open in about thirty minutes. Thousands of Swifties are pouring in.

Lining up at 4 a.m.

Amy Willow of Brighton, United Kingdom, rode up on the overnight train with her two best friends hoping to get in line for Thursday night's Eras Tour show. The early morning wake up call landing her at Wembley Stadium at 4 a.m. was a good call. She ended up being first in line.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, there's going to be like a queue of a hundred people,'" she says four hours before general admission doors open. "Crickets, literal crickets. There was no one here. It was amazing."

Wembley Stadium tells fans without a ticket: Don't come

The stadium that seats 89,000 fans told anyone without an Eras Tour ticket not to come. Additional ticket checks have been added around the stadium and fans will need to show proof of passes before entering the general vicinity.

Wembley Stadium's website  also implemented stricter security measures including no overnight camping and no  "Taylor-gating,"  where devoted fans without tickets congregate outside of a stadium to listen to the live concert and engage in dancing and friendship bracelet trading. The stadium is not allowing anyone to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympics Steps at the front. Non-ticketholders will be "moved on."

Taylor Swift breaks Wembley record as UK tour ends

taylor swift tour merch eras

Taylor Swift has finished the European leg of her Eras Tour with a record-breaking show at Wembley Stadium that was packed full of surprises.

The pop star was joined on stage by Florence + The Machine and by Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff, rewarded fans with the premiere of a new music video and gave the first live rendition of her song So Long, London.

It was Swift’s eighth concert at Wembley this summer - overtaking a record for any solo singer, which was set by Michael Jackson with his Bad Tour in 1988.

"You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour," she told fans. "We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it."

The star's eighth Wembley show also saw her equal the overall record for the most nights at the venue on a single tour, set by Take That on their Progress Tour in 2011.

'This is the best'

The star's headline-dominating tour has criss-crossed Europe all summer; with the Wembley finale marking the 131st date of her two-year trek.

In the UK alone, she played to almost 1.2 million people, generating an estimated £1bn for the country's economy.

A team of geophysicists in Edinburgh even recorded seismic waves generated by fans dancing at Murrayfield Stadium , which made the ground move by a maximum of 23.4 nanometres (nm) during the song Ready For It?

13 Times Taylor Swift Made History

Taylor swift vienna concerts cancelled after attack threat, why is taylor swift so big 'she wants it more than anyone'.

The London dates marked a high point, with Swift playing there more times than any other city on her itinerary.

"I've always loved playing for you here in London, but this is the best," she said during Tuesday's finale.

"I've never had it this good before. I've never had a crowd that's so generous.

"You seem to have memorised every single lyric of every single song, and that's a dream come true."

She made the final show count, bringing out Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine to duet on the song Florida!!!

The British singer's appearance triggered a wave of screams, as the two stars stood face-to-face, bellowing the chorus at each other at the end of a catwalk.

But any dedicated Swiftie knows that the real highlight of the Eras Tour is the acoustic set, where she plays two "surprise songs" that aren't a regular part of the setlist.

Getty Images Taylor Swift and Florence Welch on stage

Last week, the star was joined by Ed Sheeran to play the songs Endgame and Thinking Out Loud.

For the last date at Wembley, she was assisted by Jack Antonoff - one of her core collaborators on Grammy-winning albums like Folklore and Midnights.

Together, they played a guitar-based medley of Death By A Thousand Cuts and Getaway Car.

To fans' delight, the pair even staged a goofy reenactment of the Getaway Car recording session, where they wrote the song's bridge in a 30-second burst of inspiration.

So Long, London played for the first time

Swift then continued the acoustic set at her piano, with the live debut of So Long, London, from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.

Fans had been speculating for days about whether she would perform the track, which is widely believed to be about the end of her relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn last year.

The couple were believed to have lived in Primrose Hill during the pandemic, and Swift had written an earlier song, London Boy, in his honour.

But the six-year relationship fell apart last year, a month after Swift launched the Eras Tour in North America.

On So Long, London, she sings about the death of a London-based affair: " You left me at the house by the Heath... And I'm pissed off you let me give you all that youth for free ."

But the surprises didn't end with the acoustic set.

After the three-and-a-half-hour show ended and Swift had left the stage, she played a brand new music video on the stadium's big screens as fans started to make their way home.

Featuring brand new behind-the-scenes footage, it gave a glimpse into the massive scale of the Eras tour, with Swift travelling under the stage on train tracks and rehearsing the audacious "stage dive" that's become a highlight of the concert.

The video was soundtracked by I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, a highlight of her recent album, which details how the opening leg of her tour was overshadowed by the emotional fallout of her break-up with Alwyn.

" All the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting 'More', " she sings in the pre-chorus.

However, there has been an altogether more tragic backdrop to this summer's shows.

On 29 July, three young girls were killed in a horrifying attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport.

A few weeks later, the star had to cancel three dates in Vienna after security forces foiled a potential attack on her fans at the Ernst Happel Stadium.

Swift is understood to have personally reached out to the victims of the Southport stabbing, and released a statement saying she was “at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families”.

However, she has not referenced either incident on stage - preferring instead to focus on the sense of community that has become the defining characteristic of the Eras tour, where fans swap friendship bracelets and make new friendships every night.

The tour has even spawned a side-industry of spreadsheets, cataloguing every costume variation and surprise song that's been played along the way.

The countours of the show are so familiar to dedicated Swifties that they now join in with her scripted stage patter ("Welcome to the Eras Tour!") as often as her song lyrics.

It adds a certain element of camp to the proceedings - like a sanitised pop remix of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

On stage at Wembley, Swift lapped up the adulation, saying it was "a privilege to do the thing I love, in front of any size crowd at all".

At an earlier show in Liverpool, she had also called the Eras Tour the “most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life".

The 34-year-old will now take a well-deserved break, before firing up the tour for one last jaunt across the US and Canada in the autumn.

When it reaches its final date in Vancouver this December, it will have made an estimated $2bn in ticket sales alone.

Without question, that will make it the biggest tour of all time - with revenues more than doubling Elton John's farewell tour, which was the previous record holder.

The big question is: What will Swift do then?

Amid Heightened Security, Taylor Swift Returns to the Stage in London

Fans at Wembley Stadium said they trusted British security officials to keep them safe and cheered loudly when the pop star came onstage.

The exterior of Wembley Stadium in London, with stairs leading up to an entrance.

By Alex Marshall

Reporting from Wembley Stadium in London

When Taylor Swift canceled three concerts in Vienna last week after officials there foiled a terrorist plot , Swifties soon expressed fears about the pop star’s next shows, in London.

Would Swift go ahead with the concerts at Wembley Stadium? Given that the pop star once said her “biggest fear” was a terrorist attack at one of her shows, some fans had doubts. Was it even safe to attend?

When Swift did not comment on the thwarted attack in Vienna or the upcoming London gigs, fan anxieties only grew.

Yet when the singer took the stage on Thursday evening, worry gave way to excitement at the chance to see Swift perform during the European leg of her globe-spanning Eras Tour . As Swift walked onstage singing “It’s been a long time coming” — a refrain from her track “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” — the sold-out crowd cheered deliriously.

She then launched into “Cruel Summer.”

In the end, despite the interest in the Austrian plot, Swift did not refer to it even obliquely at the London show. Instead, she played an almost identical gig to the others on her Eras Tour, a joyous three-hour-plus spectacle featuring hits, costume changes and, at one point, a fake moss-covered wood cabin. For most of the concert, the 90,000 fans sang along to every word, including when she was joined by Ed Sheeran for an acoustic medley.

In interviews before the show, more than a dozen fans, including many from the United States, all said they felt safe attending the event. Kyle Foster — wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jersey like Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce — said he had flown from North Carolina with his partner and two daughters for the show.

“We didn’t think twice about coming,” said Foster, 46, adding that he felt confident security would “be on high alert.”

Maya Arbad, 18, who had traveled from Dubai, said two friends had decided not to attend the concert because of the foiled attack. “Their families were just too anxious to send them here,” Arbad said.

That had made her question the trip, too, Arbad added, “but my dad said, ‘Let’s just do it. We’ve been waiting too long.’”

Wembley already had strict security measures , including a ban on bringing large bags into the stadium. After the cancellations in Vienna last week, the venue also forbade ticketless Swifties from gathering outside the arena, as they have done at other stops on the Eras Tour, to soak up the atmosphere and exchange friendship bracelets.

Austrian police said the main suspect in Vienna was a 19-year-old man who had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State after being radicalized online. Officers had found chemicals that could be used to make bombs, as well as machetes and knives, in the man’s home, a senior security official said last week.

The plan was reminiscent of other recent atrocities at European concert venues, including a 2015 attack at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris , where more than 90 people died, and a 2017 suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert , in Manchester, England, that killed 22 people. This year, gunmen attacked a Moscow rock show , killing more than 140 concertgoers.

In recent days, British police and politicians played down the threat of a similar event happening at Wembley. A spokesman for the London police said there was “nothing to indicate that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on upcoming events here.”

Several security experts said in interviews that large British theaters and arenas had greatly improved their security since the bombing at the Grande concert.

A government-commissioned inquiry revealed numerous security lapses that led to the attack at Manchester Arena. The bomber, Salman Abedi, who had scoped the venue beforehand, spent over an hour hiding in a security camera blind spot. A member of the public also told a steward about a suspicious man with a bag lurking in a foyer, but guards brushed it off.

Reg Walker, the director of I.S.G. Security, which works at many of Britain’s largest entertainment venues, said that British security teams used to focus on managing the lines of people entering concerts. Now, operations extend to surveillance inside the venue, as well as at train stations and parking lots, both before and after shows.

On Thursday, the visible security measures were similar to those at any other major pop concert. A handful of police officers watched over the pedestrian promenades around the stadium while dozens of security staff patrolled the gathering crowd.

Although bags were banned in the arena, they were allowed in the stadium’s merchandise store — after a thorough search. Fans could purchase Eras-themed T-shirts and sweatshirts and even a Swift water bottle, although signs at the cashiers warned, “Water bottles are unable to be taken into the stadium.”

Even with the extra security measures, terrorism seemed to be the last thing on the minds of the 90,000 Swifties in Wembley. They sang and danced along to their idol’s every word, some hugging nearby strangers as if they could not believe they finally had a chance to see her.

Taylor Swift's Ex-Boyfriend Shows Up at 'Eras Tour' London

T aylor Swift's fans always get excited when her boyfriend Travis Kelce shows up at one of her performances, but one of her exes showed his support for the "Cruel Summer" superstar on Monday, August 19. Taylor Lautner, who the "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" songstress famously dated in 2009, attended her Wembley Stadium performance in London.

The Twilight star, 32, was wearing a white T-shirt, and fans were quick to note that he wore the friendship bracelets that have become a hallmark of Eras Tour performances. The actor shared his own pic of the bracelets on his Instagram story on August 19.

This isn't the first time that Lautner has cheered on Swift, 33, since her record-shattering tour began. The actor and dancer appeared onstage in Kansas City when Swift premiered her music video for "I Can See You," which stars Lautner and actresses Presley Cash and Joey King. Lautner surprised fans and even Swift for herself with a double cartwheel on the stage, which he said "wasn't planned." The appearance also coincided with the release of Swift's album Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , featuring the breakup ballad "Back To December" that she penned to apologize to Lautner. The exes shared a warm hug onstage, to the delight of the fans.

Swift and Lautner met on the set of the film Valentine's Day , where they played two madly-in-love high school students, and dated in the fall of 2009. In "Back To December," the singer apologizes for her treatment of Lautner, but it seems there are no hard feelings between the famous Taylors. (Lautner is now married to nurse Taylor Dome, who also legally changed her name to Taylor Lautner. )

Fans on X seemed thrilled to see Lautner in the audience at the London show, with some very amused that he was waving directly to the Swifties who tried to take his picture.

Taylor Swift opens up about Vienna concert attack threat: ‘New sense of fear’

Authorities accused two people of planning attacks on Swift’s Vienna shows, prompting their cancellation. Swift said she waited until the end of her Eras Tour European leg to speak out.

Taylor Swift issued her first statement on the cancellation of three of her shows in Vienna after authorities foiled a suspected planned attack on the venue , speaking of newfound fears as she continues her worldwide Eras Tour and explaining her muted public reaction until now.

“Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating,” the singer-songwriter wrote on Instagram . “The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows.”

Swift also expressed her gratitude to authorities: “Thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.”

Swift was expected to draw more than 150,000 people for three consecutive nights of her show at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium this month. Austrian authorities arrested two people — a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old — and accused them of planning attacks on large-scale gatherings, including Swift’s shows, in Austria’s capital.

Authorities said that the 19-year-old, whom they consider the main suspect, pledged allegiance to the Islamic State and that they found explosive devices during a search of his house.

Swift said she waited until the European leg of her tour concluded before speaking about the Vienna cancellations.

“I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London,” she wrote, referring to her shows at Wembley Stadium, which were scheduled to follow the Vienna concerts.

“Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows,” she added. “In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to.”

The Style section

The suspects’ plan was to attack people listening to the concert outside the stadium, an Austrian security official told The Washington Post this month, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

In interviews with law enforcement, the suspect said “he wanted to carry out the attack using explosives and cutting and stabbing weapons,” said Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, the head of Austria’s Directorate for Security and Intelligence, adding that his aim was “to kill himself and a large crowd at the concert.”
