READ BEFORE IT GETS DELETED :) FOUR REASONS TO NEVER USE CRUISE MEGASTORE #1 - Travel agents are so incompetent and unaware of rules and terms and conditions for bookings, #2 - Travel agents are rude and impolite - under no circumstances whatsoever have we had travel agents or any staff at any decent company or agency yell at us before - so they are clearly not decent enough - they even called us liars even though all phone calls are recorded and we can prove who the real liars are, #3 - Poor customer service - takes forever for them to answer your call and when they do, the agent you need to speak is surprisingly always too busy at meetings. They always say they will call back and they never do. #4 Poor handling of complaints - did not even have the courtesy to call us to let us know the outcome that the resolution team has reached, and supervisor told travel agent to not call us and again phone recordings can prove this #5 MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY ARE SCAMMERS - they would do whatever it takes to take more money of you - they have withdrawn money out of our credit cards without our permission - they have saved our credit card details without being given the authority - they have withdrawn more payments out of our account again without our approval for someone else's booking and WORST OF ALL THEY REFUSED TO RETURN THE MONEY THEY ADMITTED TO HAVE WITHDRAWN BY MISTAKE - OMBUDMAN and CONSUMER AFFAIRS will surely be hearing from us about this

Cruise megastore 241 cruise certificate allows two people to fly/ cruise /accom/tour packages for the price of one. Just received a phone call from cruise mega store to sell me a 2 for 1 package, At first would not tell me how much it would cost. Made out that you just sign up to get access to their special deals. I thought maybe $100.00 would be over the top to sign up, but she said "between $400 up to $1000.00 or maybe $1800.00 -( I was then in shock mode) Have to cruise within 2 1/2 years.
However I still think this 241 Cruises thru Megastore would not be a good choice. Plopping down money before you know what the cruise is all about seems more than a little risky. Surely you have travel agents outside of the U.S. that are reputable and honest and walk you through booking a cruise that meets your needs and price range.
As an example they advertise a cruise from New Orleans on 12/2/18 on Carnival Dream. The Megastore has a price of $936 per person for a balcony. If you go to Vacations to Go, there balcony is $614 per person. Carnival.com has the same cruise listed for $563 per person for a balcony. The Tax and Port fees are an additional $99.47 per person.
Price Comparison . Just Cruises. Shanghai to Sydney 22 nights balcony Majestic Princess August 25 2019 A$7458 for 2. Cruise Megastore. A$6025 for 2 plus commission. I have found similar kinds of savings on other cruises, the more expensive the cruise, the bigger the saving.

The upfront advertising is misleading I.E. the brochure price is much more than what is available directly from the cruise lines. Also the port charges and taxes are grossly inflated. i too was a bit apprehensive when i read all the negative reports on Trip Advisor. however all these reports are from people who have not travelled with My241cruises thru Cruise Megastore. Hope this answers some of your questions/concerns. Cheers. Sandra
