Why is the Tales of Travel achievement not recognizing the matches I have compelted in certain zones?

We have resolved an issue where playing Tales of Tribute against NPCs in certain zones would not progress the Tales of Travel achievement in a patch released on 6/19/2022 for PC . For more information you can check out our patch notes here.

ESO Achievements

Welcome to the ESO achievements overview page. In this category of the website you can find all the Elder Scrolls Online achievements.

Achievements grant in-game points and sometimes special rewards such as furnishings, titles, dyes or mounts. If you want to track your progress, you have to visit your journal and choose the header Achievements. Some milestones come easily, others are very hard to achieve.

There's a total amount of Achievement points acquirable, that will be raised with each DLC release.  

Achievement categories

What achievements are.

Achievements are goals you accomplish in-game. For this you are awarded Achievement points. These Achievement points accumulate on a specific Achievement screen and are separated in global and character-specific Achievement points. It is a milestone-meter and doesn’t serve any other purpose than showing the player how much Achievement points they have earned.

Achievement points are usually awarded in increments of 5. So it starts with 5 points for easy Achievements and reaches up to 50 for harder to accomplish Achievements. Below you can see an example of this:

The Quest Journal holds the Achievement page, which lists all the Achievements in categories. On PC you can open the Achievements tab by pressing J to open the journal and then selecting the Achievements tab in the top right corner. The Achievement categories are the following:

How Achievements work

Achievements also build up on each other in most cases. This can be either by completing minor Achievements in order to complete a bigger achievement and get a reward, or by completing all Achievements for a trial, dungeon or DLC. In the example below you can see both see Achievements you need for completing a DLC, as well as an overall achievement you need to receive a special reward. You will only receive these rewards if you complete a list of Achievements.

Some of the rewards you can expect from Achievements are:

To showcase an example, let's take one of the most favorite skins in the game, the Dro-m'Athra Skin.

In order to receive this skin, or any skin, you have to complete a specific Achievement. Sometimes, in rare cases, it's multiple Achievements, but this one is straight forward.In order to receive the Dro-m'Athra skin you need to complete the Maw of Lorkhaj on Veteran modus.

For this you need a raid party of usually 12 people in total. Compared to other skin-achievements you do not have to absolve it on Hardmode or any other really hard achievement, but the trial itself can propose quite a challenge to inexperienced trial groups.

Tales of Tribute is a two-player deck-building card game released with the High Isle chapter. Although originating on the Systres archipelago, the game has become popular all over Tamriel.

Tales of Tribute has both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. You can challenge NPCs of the Roister's Club in order to hone your skills, or you can play with other players.

Roister's club ranks [ edit ].

Challenging and winning against a Novice NPC will earn you 45 Rank Points. Challenging and winning against a Proficient NPC will earn you 60 Rank Points. Challenging and winning against an Expert NPC will earn you 75 Rank Points.

Completing all three tiers of Kishka 's and Marunji 's daily quests will earn you 75 rank points apiece, with less tiers earning less points.

Defeating Druid Braigh , Armiger Bolm, The Paramount , and Master Metrand Vyrix will earn you 180 Rank Points apiece, and 90 for each victory afterwards.

Competitive Tiers [ edit ]

The competitive tier system is based on "ranked competitive" games played against players via the "Group and Activity Finder" queue. All players begin on the "Unranked" tier until they have played five games. After the fifth game, the player is assigned on one of the higher tiers based on the win/loss ratio of the five initial games.

At the end of each competitive season, rewards are sent out. Prior to Update 35, the tiers and leaderboards were completely reset.

The top 100 players can be seen on the leaderboard (under "Quest Journal"). Unlike other leaderboards, Tales of Tribute ranking is account-wide, not character-based, so lists the account ID instead of character names. It makes no difference which character plays, as long as that character has unlocked Tribute. Achieving Rubedite tier is necessary to get to the leaderboard.

• Victor's Purse - One of these is mailed as a reward for winning a Ranked Tales of Tribute game against another player, as the first of three wins in the Dueling Tributes Daily quest through Marunji . Returning to Kishka to complete the Daily quest after completing and winning only 2 games rewards this Purse.
• Patron's Purse - One of these is mailed as a reward for winning a Ranked Tales of Tribute game against another player, as the second of three wins in the Dueling Tributes Daily quest through Marunji . Returning to Kishka to complete the Daily quest after completing and winning all 3 games rewards this Purse.
• Master's Purse - One of these is mailed as a reward for winning a Ranked Tales of Tribute game against another player, and as the third of three wins in the Dueling Tributes Daily quest through Marunji . You will also receive one for your first victory of the day through the queue, either in ranked or unranked.
