Coming soon to a theater near you: some of the funniest comedians working today. A number of major stars are heading on comedy tours this fall, including one who's doing so for the first time in years and another who's touring for the first time period. These are the comedy tours you won’t want to miss in the coming months.

Is 2023 the year of the Tuckeraissance? After appearing in his first movie in years (Ben Affleck's "Air"), Chris Tucker announced what Live Nation noted was the comic’s first major North American tour in over a decade. His "The Legend Tour" is heading to 30 cities this fall and recently kicked off in Charleston, South Carolina. "I started my career doing stand-up in comedy clubs and it's stand-up comedy that prepared me for all of my movie roles," Tucker said. "I'm looking forward to getting back to my roots." The tour will run through Jan. 12.

He's here, he's there, he's everywhere, including a theater near you this fall. Emmy-winning "Ted Lasso" star Brett Goldstein is embarking on his very first stand-up tour . The actor's "The Second Best Night of Your Life Tour" will be in Denver on Oct. 5 before moving to Boston, Minneapolis, and more cities into December. Place your bets on how many words he gets out before dropping his first F-bomb.

You're sure to have a good trip to see Eric André on tour this fall. The star of "The Eric Andre Show" is traveling the country on his "Eric André Explosion Tour," which recently kicked off in Los Angeles. He has a ton of upcoming dates scheduled, including in Kansas City, Chicago, Dallas, and Detroit. "Bring your ranch, your nightmares, and all your friends," the comedian said .

You can catch the popular British comedian Eddie Izzard on her " Remix Tour ," which has shows scheduled throughout the fall in the U.S. and heads to the U.K. in November. "I will be remixing the stand-up that I like the most from the first 35 years of my career," Izzard explained .

Make it a very Hubie Halloween season with Adam Sandler. The comedian recently announced a fall tour he’s calling the "I Missed You Tour," which will stop by 25 cities. "Let's have some fun," he posted on Instagram . He's kicking off the tour on Oct. 12 in Vancouver before heading to Seattle, Portland, Nampa, Spokane, and more locations around the country into December. Get ready for more than 20 crazy nights.

Sometimes two comedians are better than one, so Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan are heading on tour together. "Jim and I met doing 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' and have been talking about doing this for years," Seinfeld said . "We finally made the schedules work out." Gaffigan, meanwhile, joked he's "so excited to help out this unknown up and upcoming comedian who many may have never heard of." After November shows in San Francisco and Inglewood, the pair will also head to Chicago and St. Louis.

Speaking of comedy duos, you can't get much better than Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who announced their first-ever comedy tour together in February. Their "Restless Leg Tour" is continuing into the fall with shows scheduled for Cleveland, Denver, Austin, and more cities into December.

Have you seen Chelsea lately? If not, check out the schedule for her ongoing " Little Big Bitch Tour ," which has shows set throughout the fall in New York, California, and plenty of cities in between.

A certain tall child is also headed on tour this fall with some good friends. John Mulaney will be performing shows with his friend Pete Davidson, who has his own solo tour dates scheduled as well, in October and November. But for some shows, Mulaney’s “John & Pete” show will be “Jon & John,” as Mulaney has a few performances scheduled with former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart in New York and California. How’s that for a deal: two Jo(h)ns for the price of one?

Comedian Pete Davidson checked into wellness center to focus on mental health: Report

Following an announcement that he was stepping away from the stage and canceling dates in the midst a stand-up tour, comedian Pete Davidson checked into a wellness facility in July to focus on his mental health, US Weekly is reporting .

Last week it was reported that Davidson, 30, had checked himself out of the facility, but a source told the publication: “Pete remains in his treatment program and would appreciate privacy at this time while he focuses on bettering his mental health.”

With a history of time spent in rehab facilities, Davidson entered treatment in June of last year to deal with issues related to PTSD and borderline personality disorder, the report said.

During a set earlier in the month, Davidson claimed that while rehab had helped him quit some substances, he didn’t believe he was ready yet to cease smoking marijuana, the report said.

Davidson has been open about his mental health issues over the last several years and even shared advice with viewers during a 2017 episode of Saturday Night Live.

“As some of you know, I was recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, a form of depression,” Davidson said.

“First of all, if you think you’re depressed, see a doctor and talk with him about medication and also, be healthy. Eating right and exercise can make a huge difference.”

It was announced earlier this month that Staten Island’s own Colin Jost will replace Davidson at an upcoming comedy show in upstate New York.

The “Weekend Update” anchor will perform at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre in Rochester on Sept. 13. Jost will take over the 7:30 p.m. time slot at the Rochester Fringe Festival that was originally set to be headlined by Davidson, according to Syracuse.com , an SILive.com sister site.

Pete Davidson  is still in treatment at a mental health facility he entered over two weeks ago.

Despite reports the comedian, 30, had withdrew from treatment at the undisclosed rehabilitation center - a representative for the star confirmed to DailyMail.com Davidson was still at the center.

They added that Davidson was 'working on bettering his mental health.'

This comes after sources told DailyMail.com that his 'unpredictable' behavior and heartbreak over his split  from Madelyn Cline led to his recent stint in rehab.

The insider noted that Davidson has become 'a ghost to his circle of friends.'

The source also claimed that the ex of Kim Kardashian has been difficult to work with lately.

At least one of his projects was canceled over his uncommitted behavior, the source claimed.

'He's too much of a headache,' the insider said. 'He's just really hard to deal with, not showing up to meetings.'

His self-isolation and social distancing allegedly occurred around the same time he and actress Madelyn Cline called it quits after less than a year together.

He and the Outer Banks star were first romantically linked in September 2023 — just one month after his split from Chase Sui Wonders.

Davidson and Cline reportedly called off their romance in July.

Just days earlier, an insider told DailyMail.com that his 'unpredictable' behavior and heartbreak over their breakup led to him checking into a rehab facility.

Last month, it was revealed the comedian had entered a wellness facility seeking treatment for his mental health — just days after admitting to fans that he quit doing drugs .

Davidson split from Cline, 26, the same month.

A source, who saw him days before entering rehab, exclusively told DailyMail.com: 'Pete is miserable most of the time.'

The only time Pete is 'truly happy' is when he's working and on stage performing, the source alleged.

Apart from his Prehab Tour, which was supposed to run until mid-October but is now canceled, the star did not have many films or TV projects lined up.

The source explained: 'Pete doesn't have stability in his life right now. He does better when he has his s*** together and things are stable.

'For the first time in his career, things are unpredictable and that's what's been so stressful for him. There is a lot of pressure that comes along with uncertainty and that stress can lead to bad thoughts.'

The insider claimed that even though he unexpectedly canceled the remainder of his comedy tour dates — disappointing fans and losing money — the star had to prioritize his mental health.

The source added: 'He has to be in the right mindset to get on stage and perform in front of thousands.

'He kind of puts on a front on stage because that's his happy place, so sometimes people don't even know what he's seriously going through because he jokes about his life and he laughs along with his fans.'

Following his breakup with Cline, the insider said Davidson is receiving support from his family and friends.

The source said: 'Some of his closest friends didn't even find out about him going back for treatment until they read about it in the news.'

Last month it was revealed the comedian, 30, had entered a wellness facility seeking treatment for his mental health — just days after admitting to fans that he quit doing drugs; seen in June 2023

Last month, Davidson admitted that he is still smoking weed after quitting cocaine and ketamine — and posed with at a marijuana dispensary over the weekend; pictured above

'No matter what, they are wishing him the best and know that he'll bounce back after getting the help he needs,' a source spilled.

Months ago, his friends allegedly gave him a 'wake-up call' about his spending habits.

'He was blowing through his money and his friends gave him a wakeup call. He was spending thousands of dollars on private jets and trips,' the source claimed.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Pete Davidson for comment.

Days before entering a wellness facility this summer, Pete revealed that he still smokes weed, after admitting to using other drugs in the past.

During his standup comedy show on July 20 at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, he told the crowd, 'I can't quit [weed] yet. It's all I have left. I did coke and ketamine and f***ing all the pills and all that s***. All I have is weed left, so it's almost over, but I'm holding on for a little bit longer.'

He also detailed his near-death experience where he 'drove into a garage' in Los Angeles in March 2023, resulting in him being charged with reckless driving.

The misdemeanor charge was dismissed on July 18, 2024, after he completed 50 hours of community service with a neurosurgeon, a safe driving course and a visit to a morgue.

According to an eyewitness who spoke exclusively with DailyMail.com, Davidson told the crowd at Ocean Casino's Ovation Hall that he got a call about his charges being dropped and responded, 'Hooray? I guess. I did something bad. It's not anything really to be celebrated.'

The source said: 'He has to be in the right mind-set to get on stage and perform in front of thousands. He kind of puts on a front on stage because that's his happy place, so sometimes people don't even know what he's seriously going through'; pictured at his show in January

Despite the terms set forth by the court, Davidson mentioned that he was 'having a good year,' and feels 'very grateful' for his life.

Pete announced he was leaving Saturday Night Live in 2022 after being part of the late-night sketch comedy show for eight years. Last year, he executive produced and starred in Bupkis, a Peacock original, but then, after one season, called it quits.

'I've always seen Bupkis as a window into my life, since it is so personal and about my struggles and family,' The King of Staten Island star shared at the time.

'After nearly a decade of my personal life being in the media I wanted a chance to tell my story my way. Of all the work I've ever done, Bupkis is by far what I'm most proud of.'

He continued, 'I do also feel that this part of my life is finished. I'm very excited for this next chapter and for you guys to see the work. Thank you to all who support me for I am forever grateful.'

Pete previously entered a rehabilitation facility in July 2023, for treatment related to his post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder diagnoses.

The star even joked about his 'post-rehab glow' during a comedy show in Atlantic City last year.

A source told PEOPLE  on Wednesday that mental health has 'always been a priority' for the actor.

The rehab stint comes after Davidson completed more than 200 live stand-up comedy shows across the country.

He previously entered a rehabilitation facility in July 2023, for treatment related to his post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder diagnoses.

The star even joked about his 'post-rehab glow' during a comedy show in Atlantic City last year.

A separate source told PEOPLE: 'Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time.'

The actor said on the ‘Real Ones With Jon Bernthal’ podcast: “The only thing you can control is who you have around you, what you put your energy in to, who loves you, and who you love back.

“It’s a weird thing for me to even grasp now because I’ve lived in discomfort for so long where that became comfortable. So now I actually have people around me now that love me, and it’s weird. That’s a whole new thing I never thought of. It’s weird being happy.”

  • Cliff Pinckard, cleveland.com

Comedian Pete Davidson has canceled the remaining dates on his tour, reportedly checking into a wellness facility in order to focus on his mental health.

Davidson still had several shows ahead, including in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas. People reports he already had performed 200 shows around the nation. He performed at the Akron Civic Center on July 12 .

People reports Davidson underwent treatment last summer for post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder. He also has struggled with substance abuse in the past and reportedly has been focusing on his sobriety during the tour.

Davidson rose to stardom while on “Saturday Night Live” from 2014 to 2022. He has appeared in multiple TV shows and movies, including “The King of Staten Island,” which he co-wrote with Judd Apatow. He also was co-creator and star in “Bupkis,” a series on Netflix.

Pete Davidson Remains in Treatment for His Mental Health

Pete Davison Checks Into Wellness Facility for Mental Health Treatment

Pete Davidson is actively seeking treatment for his mental health, Us Weekly can confirm.

People reported on July 31 that Davidson, 30, is taking time off in the middle of a stand-up tour. The comedian’s remaining shows in Florida, which were scheduled for September, have been canceled, according to Fort Myers News-Press . The Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall announced on Facebook the show was canceled due to a “scheduling conflict.”

While reports surfaced on Wednesday, August 14, that Davidson had checked out of the wellness facility, Us has learned that is not the case. “Pete remains in his treatment program and would appreciate privacy at this time while he focuses on bettering his mental health,” a person close to Davidson tells Us .

This isn’t the first time Davidson has sought professional help for his mental health. In June 2023, multiple outlets reported that Davidson checked into rehab after struggling with PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

Earlier this month during a comedy set, Davidson joked that rehab was able to help him stop using some substances, but he wasn’t ready to give up on smoking weed .

“I can’t quit [weed] yet. It’s all I have left,” Davidson said during his July 20 show in Atlantic City, according to the Daily Mail . “I did coke and ketamine and f–king all the pills and all that s–t.”

He continued: “All I have is weed left, so it’s almost over, but I’m holding on for a little bit longer.”

Davidson’s previous rehab stint came shortly after he was charged with reckless driving after crashing his car into a Beverly Hills home in March 2023. Davidson was not arrested at the scene as authorities did not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the incident. No one was injured.

In July 2023, Davidson was sentenced to 50 hours of community service. The Saturday Night Live alum was also required to complete 12 hours of traffic school and a course at a morgue regarding victims of reckless drivers.

Two months later, Davidson returned to stand-up alongside pals John Mulaney and Jon Stewart for several shows. In his set, Davidson joked about his “post-rehab glow” and revealed that he had been on ketamine for four years.

In December 2023, Davidson raised eyebrows after canceling a series of shows . Two hours before he was set to take the stage in New York City, the Beacon Theatre announced that Davidson’s planned show for that evening had been canceled along with his performance the following night. Refunds were issued to ticket holders, but no additional details about the reason for the cancellation were offered.

Over the years, Davidson has been candid about his struggles with his mental health and how he’s continuing to work on himself.

“As some of you know, I was recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, a form of depression,” he shared during an October 2017 episode of SNL . “First of all, if you think you’re depressed, see a doctor and talk with him about medication and also, be healthy. Eating right and exercise can make a huge difference.”

Pete Davidson

“Pete doesn’t have stability in his life right now,” the insider said of the Saturday Night Live alum’s life following their split. “He does better when he has his s– together and things are stable.”

Most recently, Davidson was set to tour the country in his Prehab Tour but decided to cancel the dates to go to rehab instead.

After all, comedians are notoriously some of the hardest celebrities to read. While their outside persona might be funny and bubbly, they might be going through much more than we expected behind the scenes.

“No matter what, they are wishing him the best and know that he’ll bounce back after getting the help he needs,” the source continued.

As a reminder, The Sun reported that Davidson and Cline’s split in July was quite amicable. “They ended things fairly recently, and I understand it was amicable,” the insider said. Amicable or not, it seems like it’s really shaken him up.
