12 Must-See Live Cruise Webcams

Sitting at your desk, wishing you were on your cruise already? Or maybe you just need a little “Vitamin Sea” to get you through your day. While nothing would compare to actually being on a cruise, technology has made it easier to get your fix.

These days there are hundreds of cruise cameras. From port cams that show the ships docked in wait for passengers to live webcams from the ship at sea, there is no shortage of neat views to help you daydream about being on your vacation.

We’ve rounded up some of the best from around the web to bring them to you all in one place.

Galveston Webcam

The tourist mecca of Galveston has become the busiest cruise port outside of Florida. There are webcams all over the island, including several pointed at the port. Here you can see great views of the ships come in and dock before taking thousands of cruise passengers on their trip. Click here for the webcam .

Mahogany Bay Webcam

Roatan, Honduras

Mahogany Bay is where Carnival ships dock when they visit Roatan, Honduras. The port area has been built up for tourists, including a number of shops and a little village for you to spend your dollars. This webcam sits in the middle of the village with a great view of the ships in port.  Click here for the webcam .

New Orleans Cruise Webcam

This camera looks right now the port where ships dock when sailing from the Big Easy. The image updates every 60 seconds with a live view of what’s going on at the port. The muddy Mississippi may not look anything like the Caribbean, but it’s the key to getting from New Orleans to points further south.  Click here for the webcam .

Port of Miami Cruise Webcam

Miami is the world’s busiest cruise port. On the weekend days it’s not unusual to see six or more ships docked and waiting for passengers. This webcam high above a nearby building give a perfect view of the port, where you can also see all the way to South Beach on a clear day.  Click here for the webcam .

Cozumel Webcam

cruise ship webcams

If you are going on a cruise, then chances are high that it will make a stop in Cozumel. It’s often that you’ll find multiple ships in port on any given day, making it a prime place to watch while you’re sitting at home. This webcam looks right at the ships docked at the main pier. Don’t be surprised to see four or more docked right now.  Click here for the webcam .

Cozumel Webcam (Puerta Maya)

For another view of Cozumel, there is another web camera that covers Puerta Maya. This is the port area right as you get off the ship.  Click here for the webcam .

Carnival Vista Webcam

Carnival’s gem of the fleet, the Vista is already one of the favorites among cruisers, despite being relatively new. If you have “Vista fever” then you can check out this webcam from the bridge of the ship. Get your view of what’s going on just as if you were the captain standing watch.  Click here for the webcam .

Port Canaveral Webcam

Port Canaveral

Port Canaveral is situated about 45 minutes due east of Orlando in the center of Florida’s Atlantic Coast. It’s become a busy cruise port, with ships homeported there and others making stops so that passengers can visit Disney World, located about an hour away. It featured three main berths so it can get pretty busy on cruise day.  Click here for the webcam .

Port Everglades Webcam

While Miami might be known for cruising, Port Everglades in nearby Fort Lauderdale sees nearly the same number of passengers each year. It also sees the biggest cruise ships in the world sail from its port. If you’re a cruise fiend, there’s no better place to watch some of the most famous ships in the world.  Click here for the webcam .

Allure of the Seas Webcam

Not every webcam is of a port. Most cruise ships these days are also equipped with cameras that beam back images from wherever they are in the world. For Allure of the Seas, there are actually four different webcams around the ship that show you what’s going on in real-time. Choose from views of the Aquatheater, Flowrider, Promenade and the pool.  Click here for the webcam .

Port of Tampa Webcam

Tampa may not get the publicity of larger ports in Florida, but the western Florida port sees a lot of traffic. Several cruise lines including Carnival and Norwegian sail from the port, located right near downtown. This webcam will give you view of the ships in port and the surrounding area.  Click here for the webcam .

Nassau Webcam

If you’ve been to Nassau, then you know how busy port day can get. Having four or more cruise ships in port at once is common. You can see them all from this webcam, located right in the heart of the cruise pier.  Click here for the webcam .

'Titanic moment': Carnival cruise ship from Seattle hits iceberg in Alaska

Cruise ship from seattle hits iceberg in alaska.

Some passengers of the Carnival Spirit described it as a "Titanic moment."

SEATTLE - A Carnival Cruise Line ship from Seattle struck "an errant piece of drifting ice" while sailing in Alaska last Thursday, according to the company.

The Carnival Spirit, which set sail from Seattle on Wednesday, hit the ice in Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska.

The cruise ship underwent assessment and no damage to the hull was found, Carnival said. The seven-day cruise arrived back in Seattle on Tuesday.

The company also said the incident had no impact on its operations, however some users on social media claimed it felt like a "Titanic moment."

Passengers of the ship captured photos and video of the ice collision, some documenting the frightening encounter on Facebook and X.

One user added that Carnival did an "amazing job of keeping all the passengers and staff safe and updated."

Carnival said in a statement to FOX Business that the ship did not experience delays, and that the Spirit "arrived in Skagway on Friday as scheduled."

The Carnival Spirit was built in 2001 and can carry just over 2,600 guests with 920 team members onboard. The ship recently embarked on another round trip voyage to Alaska, this one for 14 days.
