IMPACT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR THROUGH LEADER-MEMBER EXCHANGE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT: MODERATING ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING

The purpose of this conceptual study is to provide a theoretical model to find the impact of transformational leadership on innovative work behavior of employees and to test the mediation of leader-member exchange and psychological empowerment in the hospitality sector of Pakistan. This study also proposes the moderation of knowledge sharing behavior, firstly, between the relationship of leader-member exchange and innovative work behavior and secondly, between the relationship of psychological empowerment and innovative work behavior. Field survey will be applied and data will be collected through structured questionnaire from 400 frontline managers working in 3-star hotels in Pakistan. For testing the validity and reliability of the instrument and various relational hypotheses, the study will apply partial least square based structural equation modeling (PLS – SEM) with Smart PLS software. Based on the different results of mediation and moderation in the model, the study will suggest various strategies to the hotel industry of Pakistan that how they can boost the innovative work behavior of their employees. The findings of the study will not only be helpful for the hospitality industry but they can be helpful for the other sectors and may be generalized on various settings if the future researchers replicate the same model in different contexts. So, the findings of this study will contribute the practical as well as theoretical implications

Despite various studies indicate a tremendous development for m-shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic, several service providers are unaware about the factors which influence consumer intentions to continuing use m-shopping apps during the pandemic. The purpose of this research work is to examine the factor influencing consumer intention to continue use of mobile shopping apps during COVID-19 pandemic. Literature review revealed that ECM, brand-awareness facets, and task-technology fit (TTF) have been positively associated to the SAT except USF and PBA. The SAT and TTF would be positively associated to the INT to use m-shopping apps during COVID-19 pandemic. The research combines the ECM, brand awareness components, and task-technology fit (TTF) with the self-efficacy factor to get insights into customers' continuing intents to use m-shopping apps during the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses should offer online commodities to increase organizational viability in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in developing nations like Pakistan. In terms of theoretical development, we developed an innovative framework that combines components from three prominent theories: expectation confirmation theory, online knowledge, and task-technology fit (TTF) with self-efficacy factor. The study differentiates from multiple other studies that explored earlier adoption of m-shopping apps during the COVID-19 pandemic since it includes a huge assessment of consumer behavior in terms of future aspirations.

Realizing Human Resource Management practices (HRMp) makes an organization to succeed and increase its performance. Hitherto, few empirical studies have tested this relationship at the conceptual level by analyzing a set of HRM practices simultaneously. In response to this gap, this study conceptualizes and develops three HRM practices (recruitment and selection, training and development, and performance appraisal) and tests their influence on operational performance. This relationship was tested using hierarchical regression model. The findings point out that an appropriate application of HRM practices provides a higher operational performance. Additionally, it clarifies the importance of HRM practices and helps organizations, which operate in an emerging economy, to increase the ability and knowledge on employing HRM practices.

During the last few decades, extreme weather events and global and regional economic crises have been forcing us to rethink the way that governments approach territorial development. The inherent links between social, economic, and ecological systems are proving to be increasingly signicant, and exist only in a complex whole characterised by multiple feedbacks (Berkes et al. 2002). In this light, managing the relationship between the social, economic, and ecological aspects of development is of paramount importance for those interested in establishing sustainable development trajectories in the long-run. This is particularly true since the COVID-19 pandemic has added further entropy to the picture of socio-ecological interactions. During the early stages of the pandemic, decision making, regulations, and communication had converged at the national level. However, throughout the course of the pandemic, there has been growing room for improvement in policy-making. As such, there is a need to rethink development objectives and their governance according to a new long-term perspective – one that takes better account of dierent issues and needs. Key concepts such as multi-level governance, place-based development, circular economy, and the localisation of the Sustainable Development Goals can all help Western Balkan countries to achieve a better quality of life while preserving productivity, social inclusion, and the environment (Cotella and Vitale Brovarone, 2020).

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of employees’ readiness to change on effective organizational change implementation. In this study the components of self-determination theory (SDT) and components of knowledge management (KM) are taken as independent variables with moderating effect of self-efficacy. The research model is developed in such a way that the three components of SDT Perceived competence, Perceived relatedness and Perceived autonomy have direct impact on Employees readiness to change. Similarly, two components of KM Codification strategy and Personalization strategy also have a direct impact on Employees readiness to change. The population of this study is public sector organizations based and data will be collected using survey questionnaire based on conveniences sampling approach. For inferential analysis the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach will be used. Several studies have been conducted on SDT but none has put emphasize on its impacts in organizational change implementation context. Therefore, the current study contributes to body of knowledge and examines the role of employee readiness to change on organizational change implementation.
