FIBA 3x3 World Tour Joins NEOM Beach Games 2024 Lineup
NEOM (KSA) - FIBA is delighted to announce that the prestigious FIBA 3x3 World Tour will join the impressive lineup of sporting events at the NEOM Beach Games, with 3x3 action taking place from November 7-9 in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
Worthy De Jong will be among the world class line up of 3x3 players and Olympic champions taking to the half court in NEOM, with the event set to bring together 1,000 athletes across six sports. The inclusion of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, the pinnacle competition of 3x3 basketball, will bring an electrifying urban atmosphere for both athletes and fans.
It will be the sixth straight year that the FIBA 3x3 World Tour has returned to Saudi Arabia, and the third time FIBA 3x3 has featured in the NEOM Beach Games, since its debut in 2022 with the 3x3 NEOM Super Quest and in 2023 the FIBA 3x3 Neom Challenger. This year will be the first to include the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, the biggest stage of the pro circuit, owing to the incredible culture, heritage, and passionate basketball fans throughout the region.
“We’re incredibly excited to be part of the third edition of the NEOM Beach Games,” said FIBA 3x3 Managing Director Alex Sanchez. “Our presence in this dynamic event presents an invaluable opportunity to continue to expand on the already impressive footprint of 3x3 basketball in Saudia Arabia and beyond.”
