Widely preferred by travel agencies and businesses, the travel trifold brochure template is a compact, yet effective means to showcase travel destinations with finesse and clarity. This tri-fold brochure design, meticulously crafted by graphic designers, is an art of balancing minimal text, colorful images, and strategic placement of details to captivate the potential customer.

Creative Travel Brochure Template

The beauty of the trifold design lies in its structure. With three distinct panels, it allows a business to segregate information efficiently, dedicating space for highlighting specific travel destinations, detailing travel insurance options, and even showcasing enticing beach getaways or outdoor activities.

Creating an effective trifold travel brochure requires more than just filling in a template. It involves understanding the target audience, selecting images that resonate, and providing helpful information without overwhelming the reader.

Vacation Tours Travel Tri Fold Brochure Template

Travel guide brochures serve as a comprehensive roadmap for tourists, encapsulating the essence of a destination. These brochures, often crafted by skilled graphic designers, emphasize not just the beauty of travel destinations but also offer helpful information to potential tourists.

Such brochures not only highlight the picturesque landscapes and popular spots but delve deeper into the local culture, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path treasures that make every trip memorable.

For businesses, the travel guide brochure also doubles as a marketing tool. An effective brochure, which is more than just a compilation of images and minimal text, encourages visitors to explore the destination, engage with local businesses, and soak in the experiences offered.

Adventure travel brochures are designed to ignite the spirit of adventure in potential travelers. Unlike regular travel brochures, these focus on adrenaline-pumping activities, remote locations, and experiences that push boundaries.

Each page aims to evoke a sense of thrill, showcasing activities like wildlife watching, mountaineering, deep-sea diving, or exploring rugged terrains. It’s not just about the destination; it’s about the journey and the challenges that come with it.

Knowing that the reader is seeking thrills, the brochure design prioritizes showcasing outdoor activities, perhaps offering details on off-season perks or travel insurance tailored to adventure sports.

Every element, from the photos to text boxes, is strategically placed to offer the reader just enough information to pique their curiosity, but not too much to give everything away.

After all, adventure is about the unknown, and a well-designed brochure ensures the potential customer is eager to embark on that journey of discovery.

Cruise travel brochures serve as a beacon to those seeking luxurious adventures on the high seas. These beautifully curated pieces often give potential travelers a glimpse into the grandeur of life aboard a majestic liner.

With pictures of expansive sun decks, gourmet dining experiences, and panoramic ocean views, the cruise travel brochure is designed to captivate. Additionally, detailed itineraries often accompany these images, showcasing the various ports of call, on-shore excursions, and cultural events passengers can partake in.

Moreover, the brochure provides insights into the various amenities on board, be it rejuvenating spas, entertainment options, or themed nights. For many, the allure of a cruise lies in the harmonious blend of relaxation and exploration, and a well-designed brochure ensures that this balance is perfectly conveyed.

Beach travel brochures are an invitation to a world of sun, sand, and serenity. Evoking the rhythmic sounds of crashing waves and the gentle warmth of golden sands, these brochures are crafted to transport readers to idyllic coastal paradises.

Vivid photographs of palm-fringed shores, azure waters, and sun-drenched landscapes take center stage, promising a retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Beyond the natural beauty, these brochures delve into the experiences that beach destinations offer.

From thrilling water sports and beachside activities to local seafood feasts and tropical nightlife, readers are given a comprehensive overview of what awaits.

A well-constructed beach travel brochure doesn’t just showcase a destination; it encapsulates the very essence of a beach holiday, offering both tranquility and excitement in equal measure.

Vintage travel brochures harken back to an era of classic adventures, romanticizing travel in a way that’s nostalgic and deeply evocative. With designs reminiscent of the golden age of travel, these brochures showcase destinations using sepia tones, retro fonts, and artistic illustrations.

Beyond the visuals, vintage brochures transport readers through time, recapturing the charm of old-world journeys, steam trains, and early air travel.

These travel brochures, often sought after by collectors and history enthusiasts, serve as a beautiful reminder of how travel used to be, making them not just informative pieces but also treasured keepsakes.

Minimalist travel brochures are the epitome of the adage “less is more.” Rooted in clean lines, muted color palettes, and uncluttered design, these brochures present travel information in a straightforward yet impactful manner.

Gone are the excessive embellishments; instead, every element, from images to text boxes, is thoughtfully curated and placed.

Such a design approach prioritizes clarity, ensuring that the potential customer isn’t overwhelmed but is instead drawn into the essential aspects of the travel offering.

Minimalist brochures resonate particularly well with a target audience that appreciates simplicity, elegance, and the sheer beauty of unadulterated visuals.

Modern travel brochures embody the zeitgeist of contemporary design. They are vibrant, dynamic, and often interactive, reflecting the ever-evolving nature of today’s travel trends.

Travel brochures for students prioritize experiences that are both enriching and budget-friendly. Recognizing the unique needs and aspirations of the student traveler, these brochures highlight destinations and packages that offer a mix of learning, adventure, and cultural immersion.

Details on affordable accommodation options, group discounts, and off-season deals are crucial. Graphics and images within these brochures often resonate with youthful energy, focusing on outdoor activities, wildlife watching, and community engagements.

Creating an engaging travel brochure is both an art and science, capturing the essence of a destination while ensuring practicality. From enticing travelers with stunning visuals to offering valuable details that assist in planning their journey, a well-crafted travel brochure is a fundamental tool for every travel business. Let’s delve into the intricacies of designing a brochure that stands out.

Understanding the target audience

Every destination has its unique allure, captivating a distinct set of travelers. While some might be in search of adrenaline-pumping adventures, others could be seeking a serene beach getaway.

Recognizing the target audience’s preferences is pivotal in crafting a brochure that resonates with them. Analyzing feedback from previous clients, surveying potential customers, and studying travel trends can provide insights.

These insights inform not only the content but also the overall design, ensuring the travel brochure effectively engages its intended readers.

Selecting the optimal format

Travel brochures come in various formats, each serving a specific purpose. For a concise snapshot of a destination, the tri fold brochure is a popular choice among travel agencies.

On the other hand, a more extensive booklet format allows for an in-depth exploration of the travel destination, perfect for those offering a range of experiences or a comprehensive guide to a region.

Use a color scheme

The power of color in evoking emotions and setting the mood cannot be understated. The colors chosen for the travel brochure can transport readers, offering a glimpse of the destination’s ambiance. For example, earthy tones might suggest wildlife watching adventures, while cool blues could evoke images of serene beach getaways.

Moreover, the color scheme should complement the images and align with the brand assets of the travel business. Working with a graphic designer can help in selecting a palette that both represents the destination and appeals to the target audience.

Integrating practical information

While captivating visuals and narratives are vital, the functionality of a travel brochure is equally crucial. A well-designed map highlighting essential attractions, transportation hubs, and recommended accommodations aids travelers in their journey.

Additionally, crucial details like travel insurance options, off-season benefits, and links to associated travel agencies enhance the brochure’s utility. Equally essential is the inclusion of contact details right on the cover, ensuring potential clients can reach out with ease.

Comprehensive directions, both within the brochure and via digital means like QR codes or website links, further support travelers in their planning phase.

Embracing modern design elements

Today’s travelers expect a blend of traditional and digital touchpoints. Incorporating QR codes, which lead to immersive video tours or detailed websites, can seamlessly bridge this gap.

Furthermore, ensuring the brochure’s design is optimized for both print and digital ensures a broader reach, catering to varying preferences of tourists.

Use a pre-designed template

For those not looking to start from scratch, utilizing pre-designed travel brochure templates, like those offered by platforms such as Venngage , can be a time-saving choice. These templates, crafted by professional designers, ensure that the brochure design is visually appealing.

They can then be customized with their own photos, details, and branding, creating a professional travel brochure with ease.

Media Tour 101: Tips to Pulling One Off Like a Pro

August 7, 2018

By Jenna Cason

While public relations professionals and the business world at large handle most of their communication digitally these days, there’s still much to be said for face-to-face interaction. In fact, in a survey conducted by Harvard Business Review , nearly all respondents (95 percent) said face-to-face meetings are essential for long-term business relationships. It’s on this premise that media tours were established, and it’s precisely why, in today’s era of digital communication, media tours are still a valued facet of PR strategy.

What exactly is a media tour, anyway?

A media tour consists of several casual one-on-one “meetups” with a company thought leader (often an executive) and a member of the media. The tour is set in a media town—say, San Francisco for tech media, or New York City for business media—and is typically conducted in one or two days. Media tours can be done on the heels of company news or product launches, but more often than not, they’re simply an opportunity for your brand to build rapport and stay top of mind with individual members of the media.

Below are some of my best tips for pulling off a media tour like a pro.

Prepare and brief like there’s no tomorrow

Unlike phone interviews where you can nonverbally (and verbally—thanks, “mute” button!) steer your executive back on track, deskside conversations don’t allow PR pros to be so inconspicuous. It’s important that your thought leaders understand that though these meetups may seem more causal, they’re still talking to a member of the media and should give thought to what they say.

To aid in this, create a briefing book that contains background on each reporter, the beat they cover, and their recently published work. Make sure you include suggested talking points and industry trends your executive can speak to when there’s a lull. If you have company news to discuss, prepare a fact sheet, and if you plan on demonstrating a new product with the media, do a few run-throughs prior to the tour.

Check the calendar

When it comes to booking a media tour, it’s best to avoid the bookends of the week. I’ve found that Tuesdays and Wednesdays usually work best, as you’re less likely to run into media deadlines. Also take a look at upcoming events in the media town and make sure you’re not competing with other happenings that could hinder your ability to secure facetime with reporters.

Combine inbound marketing and PR to increase visibility, credibility, brand recognition, and the potential to reach your target audience.

Overbook meetings

As you know, life with the media is sometimes complicated. You can secure meetings four weeks in advance and confirm them every hour up to the event (this is hyperbole—please don’t do this), and come the day of, someone will inevitably cancel. You simply can’t control schedules, family obligations, and breaking news assignments. The best way to prepare for a last-minute cancellation is by overbooking to begin with. A good media tour usually consists of four desk-side meetings per day. Always book five and hope for four.

Don’t expect immediate coverage

Just because your executive had a wonderful tour, met with 8-10 members of the media, and offered expert insight and commentary on every single topic mentioned, they should not expect a gauntlet of coverage upon their return to the office. The purpose of a media tour is to establish a long-lasting relationship with media members, not necessarily to generate immediate coverage. Don’t think this point goes without saying. You’ll need to bring this up with your thought leader in the early stages of planning (and probably again during the process).

Don’t bring an entourage

Make sure your executive understands that most members of the media don’t have lavish, spacious offices like Miranda Priestly a la The Devil Wears Prada . You’ll likely be meeting in a small meeting room, at a reporter’s cubicle, or even in a coffee shop. Don’t bring more than two or three company representatives (including yourself). Aside from the issue of space, this ensures that your thought leader will form a better one-on-one bond with the reporter.

Pay attention to the details

Media tours require a ton of planning: booking hotels, arranging car services, planning routes, etc. Walk through each day in your head, and make sure you’re not leaving anything out. Print out copies of reservations and directions. Pack an “emergency bag” that includes this information, along with the briefing book, an umbrella, business cards, portable cell phone chargers, and a stain remover stick (I learned this one the hard way).

Eat (yes, I’m including this as a tip)

I once had an executive who would get pretty cranky if he didn’t have a sweet mid-afternoon snack. I learned this purely from observation, so as a sort of experiment, I would bring along a sweet treat when we had an afternoon obligation. And it worked. Every. Time. Media tours are mentally draining, and, frankly, food always helps. Plan time for lunch between desk-side meetings, and throw a few snacks in your bag.

Stay in touch

Not long after the media tour has concluded, it’s important to follow up with any lingering items you promised the media. It’s also nice for your executive to handwrite or email a note to the media. After all, this entire process was about bettering their relationship.

Media tours require a ton of planning and preparation. And a lot of the time, things won’t go as planned. Remember the point of it all is to build relationships between your brand and the media, and you’ll often find that a better relationship has emerged between you and your executive as some sort of beautiful side effect.

Essential Print for Travel and Tourism Marketing in 2021.

Published on March 9, 2021

tour media print

Did you know that print marketing is still the number 1 preferred information resource for tourists according to a survey conducted by Bentley’s Center for Marketing Technology? An incredibly important fact to consider if you’re in Travel and Tourism Marketing.

‘When people book a holiday, usually it’s not a small purchase. Holidays for many people are a substantial purchase that they have even spent time saving for. To successfully market a purchase as big as a holiday you need to use a marketing channel that develops trust with your customers. It should also reflect the quality of the holiday or trip they are about to experience. Print marketing builds that trust and reflects that quality so much more than digital marketing alone could ever do. Plus, if executed properly can provide them with an engaging preview of their upcoming trip.’ Said Kate Shropshall, Marketing Manager, Alpha Card Compact Media.

Travel and Tourism is an industry perfectly placed to utilise print marketing to its fullest potential. Especially when utilising the features of a Z-Fold Card .

Whether you’re part of the marketing team for a tourist attraction, or you work for a travel agency promoting holiday destinations, or you’re a local holiday park looking to promote yourself differently this year, below are some fantastic ways to use print for Travel and Tourism marketing.

Carry on reading our blog to see how you can enhance your guest’s experience of your hotel, holiday destination or tourist attraction with essential print marketing. Print Marketing has evolved and it’s time to utilise it and reap the benefits!

This is what you usually send to your family or friends when you’re on holiday right? But a perfect way to excite and entice potential visitors is to send them a fun postcard via direct mail too. An incredible marketing tool for Travel and Tourism agencies especially.

It is an ideal time to utilise direct mail marketing too with the current restrictions in place around the UK. With the likelihood of the economy opening back up soon, now is a fantastic time to get potential visitors excited about holidays and day trips again.

Get your business into their hands by sending them direct mail pieces. Infinity Cards make super fun postcard deliveries too, with their endlessly engaging nature.

You could even include a perforated voucher for visitors to use. Either for when they visit or a discount code when booking tickets online.

Today, combining your print marketing with your digital marketing is a fantastic way to optimise all of your marketing channels.

Combining QR codes with a printed map of your location could immerse your visitors into a digital experience on their smartphones. Whilst still having that preferred physical map to help them navigate around holiday destinations or tourist attractions like Zoo’s for instance.

You could transport your visitors with the QR code to treasure hunts around your facility, or increase traffic to your website.

This is a feature that will definitely engage your visitors. It can offer them a souvenir to remember your destination by because of the unique nature of your map too.

Z-Fold Cards are ideal to marry with maps because of the compact and portable nature of the product.

Leaflets and Brochures

The way brochures are used within the travel industry has certainly evolved over recent years. Brochures used to be the only way of advertising holidays and trips. This meant that a lot of the content was a maze of package deals, price lists and general bumf. But now with the availability of all that information on the web this has changed. Brochures can now be used as a source of inspiration and leave out the heavy stuff.

Fantastic photography, testimonials, and focusing the content towards what your guests will experience is more likely to appeal to them. It will make them want to visit you!

A high quality, well designed and engaging brochure can offer your guests an experience in itself. Offering it in a format that is compact and retainable like a Z-Fold Card will offer you an even bigger advantage as your guests will carry it around with them. This in turn will increase the chances of more and more people seeing your brand.

An additional feature you could combine with your leaflet or brochure is perforated vouchers. Or maybe even a pocket on the front of a Z-Fold Card for visitors to store their hotel keys. All the information they need for a great visit in one place with a cover pocket car d .

We hope this blog gave you some inspiration for your print marketing this year!

If you found it helpful please give it a share.

Popular on variety.

Video of the lead-up to the scuffle shows Ferrell fiercely grunting in the direction of the audience, before he turns to his right and begins issuing those bellows at Navarro, face to face. He appears to aggressively bump shoulders with the guitarist during a solo, and Navarro eventually stops playing and puts a hand up to Farrell’s chest to establish distance. Then the singer appears to deliver a punch. At that point, as the stage lights are lowered, three men, including bassist Eric Avery, surround and grab hold of Farrell, who is finally forced offstage, still apparently struggling as he’s hustled into the wings.

Once Farrell was gone, the rest of the band — including Navarro — stepped to the front of the stage to give the crowd a gentler farewell, appearing calm as they hugged one another, applauded the audience, tapped their hearts and offered a peace sign.

The altercation immediately blew up on social media, with no shortage of jokes — including countless Oasis comparisons — along with more serious concerns expressed for the well-being of the band members involved.

“Jane’s Addiction broke up before Oasis omg,” came a typical tweet, from the user @Tribecalledflex .

On setlist.fm , the notations section for the Boston show offered an ironic juxtaposition of trivia about the gig, reading: “Note: Stephen Perkins’ drum kit was outfitted with balloons in celebraton of his birthday. The set ended early after Perry Farell punched Dave Navarro.”

Press representatives for Jane’s Addiction and the tour promoter, Live Nation, could not immediately be reached for comment Friday night.

Chatter had already circulated in social media about the Jane’s Addiction shows earlier this week in New York City, held at the Rooftop at Pier 51. At the first of two concerts there, Farrell admitted to the audience he was not in great vocal shape, reportedly saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, I have to be honest with you. Something’s wrong with my voice. I just can’t get the notes out all of a sudden.” The next day, bandmate Eric Avery posted to Instagram, “Looking forward to getting another crack at this spectacular rooftop venue tonight. I’m optimistic we will be better.”

The following night in New York, things indeed took a turn for the better, according to a reviewer for JamBase who wrote, “I had seen the reports of Farrell’s condition on Tuesday, so I had trepidation as Jane’s Addiction came on. All my fears quickly eased away as my first Jane’s experience was a great one. Farrell sang well, Perkins crushed it behind the kit, Navarro shredded and Avery anchored the band with his steady work on bass. … Some of (Farrell’s) stories were engaging and others rambled as he chugged from a bottle of wine. He also was fixated on a device that I’d imagine was supposed to add effects to his voice but didn’t have much impact to my ear. However, when it came to singing the songs, Farrell nailed most of them.”

Ironically, in light of what has since transpired, the singer halted a beef at the band’s second New York show. “Farrell actually stopped the latter tune after he spotted a fight in the audience,” JamBase reported. “Farrell had a fan named ‘Bobby’ make up with the crowd member he was feuding with.”

Jane’s Addiction’s first tour in 15 years is a co-headlining one, with another beloved ’90s group, Love & Rockets, sharing the bill.

Friday night’s fateful Boston show came about 20 dates into the groups’ dual tour itinerary, with 15 left to go. As of this writing, the tour is still scheduled to continue and wrap up Oct. 16 at L.A.’s YouTube Theater, returning to where the group already successfully performed once near the beginning of their outing in mid-August.

BOSTON - Members of the alternative band Jane's Addiction were seen fighting onstage at their show in Boston Friday night.

Fight caught on video

It happened at the band's show at Leader Bank Pavilion. Video shows lead singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro yelling and confronting each other in the middle of a song, shoving each other before Farrell throws a punch at Navarro. Another man then jumps between them, breaking up the fight. The concert ended early after that.

Video of the incident quickly spread around social media, with some fans speculating if the band will break up.

Wife blames frustration

"Perry's frustration had been mounting, night after night, he felt that the stage volume had been extremely loud and his voice was being drowned out by the band," Farrell's wife, Etty Lau Farrell, wrote in an Instagram post Saturday morning.

She said her husband had been suffering from tinnitus and a sore throat and "by the end of the song, he wasn't singing, he was screaming just to be heard." She said her husband later broke down "and cried and cried."

Jane's Addiction, known for songs like "Jane Says" and "Been Caught Stealing," is on its first tour in 15 years. Their next show is set for Sept. 15 at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

WBZ-TV reached out to concert promoter Live Nation for comment bud did not hear back. The band has also not addressed the incident on social media.

Wife of Jane’s Addiction frontman says tension and animosity led to onstage scuffle in Boston

Dave Navarro, left, and Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction performed in 2017 in San Diego.

BOSTON (AP) — A scuffle between members of the groundbreaking alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction came amid “tension and animosity” during their reunion tour, lead singer Perry Farrell’s wife said Saturday.

The band is known for edgy, punk-inspired hits “Been Caught Stealing” and “Mountain Song” in the late 1980s and early 1990s as the alternative rock and grunge music movements were growing.

In videos post on social media from Friday night’s concert in Boston, Farrell, 65, is seen singing loudly into his mic and then lunging at guitarist Dave Navarro, bumping Navarro with his shoulder before taking a swing at Navarro with his right arm. Navarro is seen holding his right arm out to keep Farrell away before Farrell is dragged away by others on stage. The show ended shortly after.

“Perry’s frustration had been mounting, night after night, he felt that the stage volume had been extremely loud and his voice was being drowned out by the band,” Etty Lau Farrell wrote in an Instagram post Saturday morning.

She said her husband had been suffering from tinnitus and a sore throat and “by the end of the song, he wasn’t singing, he was screaming just to be heard.” She said her husband later broke down “and cried and cried.”

The band’s “Imminent Redemption” tour started in early August and has 15 dates left, including a show in Connecticut on Sunday night.

The band has not yet made a statement about the future of the tour.

Perry Farrell Throws Punch at Dave Navarro During Chaotic Jane’s Addiction Concert, Forced Offstage

The incident occurred during the band's concert in Boston on Sept. 13

Kieran Frost/Redferns/Getty

A Jane's Addiction concert ended in chaos after lead singer Perry Farrell threw a punch at guitarist  Dave Navarro .

On Friday, Sept. 13, the band was performing at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston when an altercation between the two bandmates broke out during a performance of “Ocean Size" from the group's 1988 album Nothing's Shocking.

In a video of the incident posted on YouTube , Farrell, 65, seemed agitated as he repeated what appeared to be a chant at the audience, before turning toward Navarro, 57, who was playing guitar, and repeating it toward him.

Farrell then appeared to shout "f--- you!" as he shoulder-barged his collaborator, who put his arm against the lead singer's chest in what appeared to be an attempt to hold him back. Farrell then threw a punch at Navarro.

Astrida Valigorsky/Getty

Multiple people next ran onstage to restrain Farrell, and Navarro was later seen removing his guitar and placing it on the ground as the lights in the venue dimmed, prompting the concert to come to an abrupt end.

Representatives for both Farrell and Navarro, as well as Live Nation, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Never miss a story — sign up for  PEOPLE's free daily newsletter  to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

Footage of the incident was also shared on X (formerly Twitter) by another concertgoer, who wrote in their caption, "Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro just got in a fight and the concert ended."

"I was there. The crowd was bemused. Half p----- the show ended early and half excited we may have seen the last Janes A show ever," one other fan wrote the social platform.

The shocking moment between Farrell and Navarro took place amid the band's current North American tour, which kicked off on Aug. 9 in Las Vegas and, for the first time since 2010, features their classic lineup of Farrell, Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery.

Following the onstage scuffle, Avery, Perkins and Navarro returned to the stage to say goodbye to the crowd, making peace signs, waving and tapping their hearts, Variety reported.

The band announced their 23-city tour in May after they reunited for the first time in 14 years to perform an intimate show on May 23 in London.

The tour was originally slated to end in St. Louis at Evolution Festival on Sept. 29, according to a press release. However, in August, the band added several new dates, extending the tour until Oct. 16 .

Jane's Addiction's next show is scheduled to take place at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Conn., on Sunday, Sept. 15.

SkinTour is my personal skin care blog. I built it to provide expert, unbiased skincare information to you (the consumer) about skin health and beauty, products, lasers, injectibles and other devices. I wrote all of the content, and I have no financial ties to any pharma, device or cosmetic companies. I’m board-certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, have published two books, and been a guest expert on The Oprah Show. If you have questions about best skin care products, or best skin treatment options for various problems or needs, search in the top header for existing content, or click "ask a question" to submit your own!
