Q. what is the difference between perfume, eau de parfum (edp), eau de toilette (edt), and eau de cologne (edc).

The difference is simply a matter of the amount or concentration of oils in the fragrance. These oils are called "juice." The highest concentration of "juice" is in perfume (or parfum), followed by Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and finally Eau de Cologne. After Shave has the least amount of oils. The higher the concentration of "juice", the longer your fragrance will last, and the less you need to apply.

Q. Why do some fragrances seem to last much longer than others?

People with dry skin usually find their fragrance holding time shorter than those with oily skin because oily skin has more natural moisture to hold in the fragrance.

Q. How can I make my scent last longer?

Apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you don't lose it as quickly. A light spray on the hair can last all day. For a long lasting effect, spray it at the ankles; it allows the fragrance to blossom up.

Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.

At this point, we already  know  that French women are incredibly chic . What I didn't know, however, is that they also carry entire bottles of  perfume around in their bags in case they ever need a touch up. Thanks to TikTok , now I know. Although I'd personally opt for a travel size of my favorite scent, I have to give credit where credit's due. This is incredibly genius because if strangers stop you to ask what you're wearing, you'll have it on hand (if you feel like revealing your trade secret , that is). Luckily, the TikTok video I stumbled upon featuring a French woman and her most  coveted perfume revealed that she was carrying a fan-favorite from designer Narciso Rodriguez. If you're curious about which offering she keeps with her at all times, keep scrolling! I tracked it down below along with a few of the other best scents from Rodriguez.

1. Narciso Poudrée Eau de Parfum 

Key Notes : Bulgarian rose, vetiver, white jasmine, cedarwood I really love fragrances that contain both sweet, floral notes and earthier, woody ones. It creates such a delicious balance that adds sophistication and warmth to any occasion. Poudrée truly works as either a day or night scent and strikes all of the chords listed above perfectly.

Key Notes: Rose, musk, peach, amber, patchouli For Her is one of my favorite offerings from Narciso Rodriguez. I tend to like scents that lean a little more gourmand and this fits the bill. It's warm and uplifting but isn't overly saccharine which is exactly what I look for in a perfume.

3. Pure Musc Eau de Parfum

Key Notes:  Orange Blossom, heart of musc, cashmeran As you can tell by the name, this rendition of For Her is muskier and has a bit more of a richness to it. It's also floral and even a bit powdery—I'd say it's for fans of Ariana Grande's Cloud Intense Eau de Parfum or even Chanel No. 5.

Key Notes: Lavender blossom, juicy pear, bergamot, creme de coconut, praline, vanilla orchid, sensual musks, creamy blonde woods, dry cashmeran, ambrox

Key Notes: Plum, bergamot, pink pepper, musc, tuberose, rose, vanilla Behold the brand's most popular offering Musc Noir Rose which I happened to discover on TikTok. Yes, this is it folks—the perfume French girls are actually and truly carrying around in their bags on the street. Don't believe me? Just watch  this TikTok that captured it all. It's easy to see why it's a fan favorite. If you like fruitier notes layered with soft floral notes like rose, then I guarantee you'll be just as obsessed with this one as the French masses. Get it while you can—TikTok has done it again and it's sold out almost everywhere ATM.

Key Notes:  Ylang-tlang, frangipani flowers, heart of musc, amber, cedarwood This floral fragrance contains smooth notes of ylang-ylang, amber, and cedarwood for a warm and radiant finish. It's truly magnetic and makes me feel like I'm on a constant summer vacation .

Love the smell soft and long lasting I will buy me the black bottle very happy with my purchase

This perfume is so beautiful! I have been looking for a signature fragrance house and I have finally found one. It is a little strong when it is first sprayed but as it dries it’s floral notes stand out first and then that beautiful musk and cashmere just makes it so comfy. The amber is very apparent to me in the beginning spray too. I love it so much! Can’t wait to try others!

This NR fragrance was horrible. I blind bought this fragrance based on reviews on YouTube something I will never do again. The spray was oily! Definitely not something I would spray on my clothes. It smelled like all of the NR fragrances do. Really nothing unique or different and not as described as summery or beachy. Major disappointment. I do not recommend purchasing this fragrance.

The fragrance is so fresh, please go for ir you will have no regrets.

Smells heavenly! Love this perfume!

I kept this because I really like the bottle. I probably won’t use this perfume much, if at all. It’s not the musk because I really love poudree. I kept smelling the dry down waiting for something other than the musk to show up but all I smell is powder and musk. This is not a safe blind buy. Evidence of this is the fact that every review on here was collected as part of a promo.

I bought this as I had smelt it on and friend and it was really nice, unfortunately I don’t find it works for me, it does smell lovely but just doesn’t seem to last which is a shame, this may not be the same for everyone

It's not a perfect scent but i love it. Light sweet floral dan cukup unik menurut gue. Tropical but not fruity things. Soft frangipani and creamy ylang ylang becoming ambery musk then close with cashmeran, vanilla and a bit woody. Karena Ambree ini soft, longevity-nya pun termasuk medium, 5 to 8 hours.

Dari beberapa NR yang aku coba, ini adalah varian floral yang punya the least amount of musky vibes. Yang suka yellow floral pasti cinta banget sama Ambree, ini yellow floral yang powdery, happy, the cheerful version of NR. Beda dari Pure Musc, Cristal, Poudree yang heavy on musky & powdery yang lebih ngasih nuansa clean.

Suka tapi yang ga suka bangettt 😂 wanginya floral, musky, powdery tapi somehow ada wangi manis tipis gt loh jadi masih suka 😌. Enak sih tapi wanginya rame, kaya lot of component jadi ngebuat sedikit pusing wkwkw tapi ini awet bgt loh dari pagi sampe sore tuh masih kecium, setelah itu sih harus re-apply. Btw kurang suka sama packagingnya yang bulky jd lebih cocok dipajang aja tp gabisa dibawa kemana-mana 🥲. Ohiya ku juga udah sniff beberapa perfume dari Narciso dan yang masuk sama seleraku cuma ini aja, apalagi yang Fleur Musc (pink tua) aku gasuka bgt krn super musky 🤣 tapi masih penasaran yang Musc Noir Rose For Her yang viral di Tiktok, next mau sniff itu sih 😆.

Ini produk keduaku dari brand Narciso Rodriguez, setelah suka banget sama pure musc for her. Parfum ini kurang cocok di aku karna terlalu wangi frangipanni, splnya oke sayangnya kurang cocok wanginya. Kemasannya bulky dan kurang travel friendly.

I’ve seen many good reviews about Ambree ini, tapi unfortunately this is just not for me. Frangipanni nya kecium bgt, kyk main note nya si frangipanni ini. Buat aku terlalu yellow florals. Kalo kalian suka yellow floral notes maybe bakal suka sm Ambree. Personally, me and yellow florals are enemies jadi ga cocok mungkin di aku. Tapi Spl wise ok bgt, tahan 8 jam+

Flanker ke-3 dari lini Narciso yang masuk koleksi. Kalau Poudree & Pure Musc berasa ‘creamy’-nya, Ambree terasa lebih light di hidung. Notes ylang-ylang & frangipani-nya segar & gak bikin cloying buatku yang biasanya benci parfum floral. DNA musk-nya tetap terasa, meski samar & cenderung skin scent. Sebuah alternatif yang cocok bagi pencari parfum summer atau bernuansa tropis/pantai, tapi menghindari citrusy notes atau marine notes yang maskulin & nyegrak di hidung. Sayang SPL-nya gak senampol seri-seri Narciso terdahulu.

Son parfum est idéal au quotidien, il est envoûtant avec ses notes ambrées , et je trouve la tenue très bonne. Fin de journée après le travail les notes sont encore bien présentes mais avec douceur . On me demande souvent ce que je porte car le frangipanier ajoute une légère note gourmande en fond qui le rend unique. Un sans faute , le seul mini défaut mais qui gâcherai le si beau packaging si il était différent, c’est que comme le flacon est opaque je ne vois pas ce qu’il reste dedans .

• E-gift cards can be emailed to any individual with a valid email address. The recipient of an e-gift card will receive one email including two important numbers: the e-gift card number and the pin.
• On a physical gift card, the pin number can be found under the silver scratch-off patch on the back of the card. The gift card number and pin for an e-gift card can be found in the e-gift card email message sent to you.
• Gift cards are non-refundable, are not redeemable for cash or check and cannot be applied as payment to any account, except to the extent required by law.
